This is an especially fascinating book for me since it was written by my uncle and my grandfather!

My grandfather came to the United States from Holland and he wrote articles in Dutch for a newspaper back in Holland about the Hudson/Fulton celebration taking place in New York City in the early 1900s. My uncle had the articles translated and compiled them into this book! It is a fascinating piece of New York City history and a piece of my family history as well!
