Who doesn't love a good taboo? I know, I do. And when it comes to taboo fantasies, to intersection of sex and saintliness seems to be one that titillates and tempts even the most devout of souls. Sacred & Profane: Priest Erotic Romance is the newest anthology by Sexy Little Pages and it is positively salacious from cover to cover. These ten wicked ladies take us from the pew to the confessional, from vestibule to vestry, and into the private homes of parishioners ready to confess their darkest d ...more

Okay ... so this was unexpectedly good. And what I mean by unexpectedly is that all 10 stories really hit the mark: erotic and taboo without crossing over to ridiculous . As someone who takes pleasure in reading these types of stories, trust when I say this is one of the few collections that I would put my seal of approval behind. They're not romance stories or love stories. They're just erotic tales that are written well and will probably make your girlie parts tingle on more than one occasi ...more

This is, for sure, an intriguing theme for an anthology and one I was very interested to explore. On the whole, I enjoyed it. As with pretty much all anthologies, there were some stories and writing styles that I liked better than others, but that's just a matter of personal taste. The stories I did enjoy were super-hot and super-naughty, and all will no doubt appeal to fans of the taboo. The only downside for me was that perhaps the theme was a little bit too niche, because some of the stories ...more

After years of reading and reviewing books, I have to say that this is the first time I have ventured into anything that has this religious setting. I’m not overtly religious myself but still found the idea of stories that involved the clergy slightly more off limits than I had anticipated.

I will review this anthology as an whole, I don’t think it serves any purpose to wade through each story, after all you are either going to read them all or you’re not and if you are reading this then I would

Okay so.
Sit down, buckle your seat belts, and get ready kids because I am about to drop some knowledge on you.
Do you like attractive men? Do yo like priests? Do you have a religion/blasphemy kink?
Prepare yourself for a literary FEAST featuring priests, religion, blasphemy, and erotic scenes.

A lot of times in anthologies there are one or two stories that just aren't as good.... well that is NOT the case here.
Each and every story is full of sexu

This is a REALLY fantastic boxed set!

Know this going in that, yes, the subject matter is controversial and certainly not for everyone. I, personally, have no qualms about the subject matter and was very curious about how the authors would explore this angle of erotic romance.

Every single story in this set is absolutely amazing. The writing is excellent, the editing is meticulous and these stories are packed with so much emotion. I couldn't believe, and wasn't expecting, the amount of love shared

I've read tons of books with Priest or sacred related themes. I am not a prude. Most of the reads I've read made it worth the reader's time and effort to bask in the taboo and forbidden...

This anthology missed it. The stories are mediocre at best. I think this anthology is perfect for a "virgin of taboo reads".

As usual this review reflect my personal opinion of the book content. Please consider other reviews if you're on the fence regarding purchase. My tastes run extremely dark sooooo.....yeah.

Goes down as another off my 2017 Bookworm Bingo Challenge – A collection of anthologies. Well this is a bit of a naughty, taboo collection of some rather hot priests who are tempted by love as well as lust.

Father Nicholas Bailey has been feeling lost. One day got too much for him and instead of just going for a walk, like his brothers would expect him to, he found himself somewhere he wouldn’t have thought. A secret door that leads into the club Donovan’s, a club that c

Ugh. I don't even know what to say about this collection of terrible priest/erotic/taboo stories that tried so hard to be sexy and taboo, that it ruined the stories?

I think I've already said enough.

DNFed at 30%.

Wow. I have to start off with – I’m not particularly religious and I believe that even men, and women of the cloth to be human and as such, will never escape human needs. I find it disconcerting that we could hold certain people responsible for denying their humanity.
This book consisted of ten stories, each with a different approach/outlook but following the same theme. All men and women are created equal, after a fashion. Each story was well edited and flowed with a great pace.

Recommends it for: Taboo Sexy Story
So this is an anthology with 10 different stories,

This is most definitely a taboo subject and not everyone is going to be interested in reading this. However, it is a very good compilation of stories written by some incredible authors.

Each story has it's own story line and characters plus each one is different and you have the opportunity to read stories that teeter on the morale of both men and women in the clergy. NOTE:All characters are of legal age Is it taboo? Yes most definitely TABOO but
