A sinful boss secretary romance.

I’ve heard all the rumours: He killed his wife. He’s on house arrest. He’s a vampire. Yet still, when I get a job offer from the reclusive Mr. Hyde, I jump at the chance. Yes, I know I’m crazy.

I’m cautious at first, but then I discover a beautiful, quirky man. I also see a tortured soul who lives in darkness. I know I should run, yet I can’

5+++ Ruby Stars******

Loving Ruby is three hundred and eight pages of delicious decadence. The perfect romance; one that you do not want to miss.

Ruby Riverstone is a sweet and vivacious young woman. She has the dream and the talent to write and illustrate children's books, but she is having a little bit of a tough time with the execution. She's been helping her sister Amber with the family business, they have a B& B, and as much as Ruby loves being part of the family business, her heart is

Loving Ruby is the second book of Riverstone Series and to be honest, I was really loking forward to read this book especially knowing it's about the reclusive Mr. Hyde and the carefree Ruby. I was so intrigued with him that I was jumping with glee when he's paired up with Ruby. Such a perfect pair. A reclusive hero, rumored as a widow and on a house arrest, suspe

Ruby Riverstone is Amber's younger sister, the sassy, light hearted one we met in Loving Amber. She's a little lost, has tried to fit in to working at the family's business, but it's an epic fail. She's trying to find a job when she sees and ad for an assistant to a writer. This job is perfect for her! She applies but doesn't think she will even score an interview.

I've heard many things these past two years about the infamous reclusive Mr. Hyde. Ever since he took ownership of

Loving Ruby is an emotional and angsty story that is full of lows and highs yet that is what makes this a great romance read. The perfect romance, the forbidden delight, one book you do not want to miss. This is book 2 in the Riverstone Series, one I have been waiting a while to read because I loved book 1 very much. This is the story about the reclusive Mr. Hyde and the creative and sweet Ruby Riverstone. Oh the stories that abound about our hero, stories that he is a vampire to a murderer on t ...more

Both of them came across to me as quite childish and selfish. Seemed to me neither knew the meaning of compromise till the last page. And then suddenly it was sacrifice.
And it was just too hot and cold, and lacked consistency and maturity. Sorry, really not my thing!
I mean your girlfriend has a book launch dude! It's kinda a really big thing, it is actually NOT too much to ask for you to be there and for once ask you to push your limit a little bit and show your support on a nerve wrecking mome

Roya has magic in her hands while weaving stories. Even simplest of the stories have so much depth in it that it will blow your mind. Her characters's imperfection make their love story more intense and addictive. I have been dying to know about the mysterious man in the castle who is described as recluse, vampire and that added the mysteriousness in the story and I wanted to how it would play out with Ruby and him. Ruby fascinated me since I read Loving Amber and I loved getting inside her head ...more

I love this author and her writing. Roya knows how to draw you into a story from the start. With this book it was easier than that because this is book 2 in the Riverstone Estate books, so we met Ruby in book 1 and I just loved her character. I was so excited to see that she was getting her own book. She is the sister to Amber. She’s young, feisty, sassy, sweet, funny, and hilarious. It isn’t necessary to read Amber’s book first as this one can be considered a standalone.

I really enjoyed the st

After reading LOVING AMBER I was so intrigued by the mysterious man that had moved into the Estate near the Riverstones. I had also fallen in love with the wild child sister, Ruby. Reading LOVING RUBY was a treat because it features a reclusive hero that is not often the dominating alpha we read about all the time. But he was also strong and assertive in certain areas of his life. The dual image of his character was interesting and I can totally see how Ruby fell for his charms.

August Hyde was a private man. He kept himself secluded from society in every way possible since the tragic loss of his wife. Guilt was a powerful feeling. He poured his soul into his writing and only focused on doing so. His novels and precious bird, Miko, were the only things that mattered.

Ruby was jobless. Coming across what seemed like the perfect opportunity for employment, she interviewed for the position of a bestselling author's PA. Upon meeting Mr. Hyde, Ruby was intrigued and much to

4 stars!!!

“It had all been an illusion…”

When I reviewed Loving Amber, book one in this series, I said “Ruby is up next. She is the total opposite to Amber and already made her appearance felt in this book so I cannot wait to see what her story entails, I bet it won’t be boring!” And boring it wasn’t.

“Despite all the speculation and gossip, one thing was never mentioned… This strange reclusive man is breathtakingly beautiful.”

Loving Ruby is the second book in The Riverstone Estate series. If you haven’t read the first book, Loving Amber, don’t worry, each book can be read as a stand-alone. While the characters from the first book do make an appearance, Loving Ruby features a new couple.

If you enjoy workplace romances, Loving Ruby will definitely pique your interest. Roya Carmen puts her own spin on the taboo relationship between a boss and his assistant, and it has all of the sinful, delightful, intriguing

5 amazing stars

And here I thought that Loving Amber was epic, but Loving Ruby truly blows it away like yesterday's baseball game (alright so that might not make sense, but you get what I mean). Roya Carmen has this uncanny talent of taking an idea and developing it until you get fully immersed into her stories. Ruby is us - readers, graphic designers, author personal assistants and heck, too many of us Facebookers. And when an author is in the search of h

This was another really great book for Roya Carmen in the Riverstone Estate series. I loved Ruby as a character in Loving Amber, so was really excited to read her book. Having said that, this could be read as a complete standalone.

Ruby needs a job. She's been at a bit of a dead end in her life, with which direction she wants to go, workwise and generally. She has dreams of writing and illustrating a children's book, but not had the enthusiasm or encouragement from anyone else to do it seriously

Loving Ruby is book two of the Riverstone series. I haven't read book one, Loving Amber, but that didn't hinder my reading at all. In fact, this book could be read as a standalone.

Ruby Riverstone is a 26 year old woman who considers herself the black sheep of the family. Her sister 'fires' her from working at their inherited family estate and is then left without a purpose... until she lands a job across the street for the mysterious Mr. Hyde, as an assistant.

Mr. Hyde is an erotica author who h

**Blogger Note: I received an advanced copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.**

This is the third book I have read thus far this year and it is by far my favorite. I freaking loved Loving Ruby. I loved her free spirit. She is the perfect balance for the dark, secretive, lonesome August Hyde.

This book will take you by surprise because it is nothing like the first book in the series, Loving Amber. It is a lot deeper and sad than first impression. Hyde seems like a jerk at first, you

Loving Ruby is the second book in Roya Carmen's Riverstine series. It features Ruby, Amber's younger sister, introduced in book one. It can be read as a standalone, but I suggest reading in order for the full experience.
Ruby needs a job. When she sees an ad for an assistant to a famous writer, it seems perfect for her. She applies, but figures she has little to no chance landing the position. She's definitely intrigued by him and all of the rumors surrounding him which range from him b
