John M. Capozzi provides excellent tips and anecdotes in this book that will benefit anyone, not just those pursuing business. The honest yet light nature of the writing makes the information easy to process and easy to apply in everyday life. Some tips may be obvious others are some you may never have thought of.
My personal favorite anecdote was about negotiating from a position of power. Capozzi tells a story about a colleague who would break a glass table during every major negotiation as it always assured that the deal would close in his favor. Even though each table cost about $10,000 he would gain at least $100,000 per table so he considered them an investment.
All in all this book is a quick and informative read that does its job perfectly. I may not be gripped by books of this nature but this is certainly the best of its kind I have read. I recommend that everyone takes a gander at this book to gain some wisdom.

Quick read. Some are outdated, but most are "Early bird gets the worm"-types. Good perspectives on business.
