I read this for the Spring 2009 challenge (15 points): Get to Know the Author: Read a book by an author and then either attend a reading by that author or read/listen to an interview with that author.

The author visited my local library last evening. He read an excerpt from his latest work in progress, spoke about his creative process, reminisced about life on the DelMarVa peninsula, and signed books.
