I think it's fair to say this book is "steampunk", in that it has steam, and airships, and generally-implausible Victorian-themed technology. Likewise, it is an adventure, in that the protagonist(s) face battles and challenges beyond their normal lives. However, the more I read it, the more it seemed to be a dramatisation, or possibly even a straight-forward re-telling, of a roleplaying campaign. I like the steam punk world created here.
The story is convincing and rattles along at a good pace. Strangely, though I enjoyed the characters I didn't feel I knew them.
The POV changes, of course, but I was not always sure who was narrating.
Despite these comments it is a good read.

While the writing is interesting, there was so much going on it was hard to read.

Read full review in the 2017 March issue of InD'tale Magazine.

Uneven. Jumps between characters too much. But world is well developed

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy.
I loved reading in each person's point of view. Everyone is strong and knows their own mind. Especially the women!
The book moved along. Set in Victorian times. Full of adventures.
