Fast paced and action packed!
Loved, loved, loved this book! Action packed and kept me from page one. Read this book straight through. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves shifters and Seals!!

Many surprises
Merideth's life has been rough since she was captured and forced to work for the Arctic faction of shifters. I really liked how brave she was throughout the story. Dice thought she was dead so when Spade, the jerk, finally told him where she was he had to go save her. Dice is leading a group of psychotic soldiers that I think have more to them than what everyone else thinks. There are lots of surprises in this story, but the ending seems a bit too easy.

I really enjoyed these crazy characters who had nothing to lose. It is savage, vicious, bloody and sexy and made me laugh at times at just how crazy each member of the team is.
The stories are short but good and they all flow on from one another.
You will definitely like this if you like a little crazy and unpredictable and sexy hot shifters.

Reunited!!!
BEAR MY HEIR is the first book in Anya Nowlan's newest series, SHIFTER SQUAD NINE series. It was fantastic, enthralling and a must read. Mrs Nowlan did a fabulous job.
Dice Alderson, a bear shifter and the leader of a new elite team of ex-SEAL shifters whom the firm put together didn't want the responsibility that was put on him but his former friend now boss turned frenemy, Spade (whom we met in SHIFTER SQUAD SIX series).
Spade loved to explore others' weaknesses and Dice was no exception. To get Dice to do what he wanted, Spade placed a trump card he'd been holding to for five years. That his mate Meredith Wilder was alive but held captived by a terrorist group (The Arctics).
Dice wasn't to happh yo find out how Spade had betrayed him. Though Dice and the members of Shifter Squad Nine were working together, they were hardly a team.
Meredith Wilder, a scientist who had been working a something that could change the world was held captived by The Arctics for over a year. When she was rescued, she never imagined that she would see the man she had planned to have a future with, the love of her life, Dice Alderson.
Dice and Meredith enjoyed their reunion but it was short-lived, she had to stay with the terrorists and work to take take down from the inside while Shifter Squad Nine worked from the outside. Meredith found herself with a babh boy by the name of Dean after her reunion with Dice.
Dean had been used as a way to keep Meredith in line when they doubted her, she knew she had to do everything in her power to make sure she and Dean got out of their he!! whole alive.
Dice and his the rest of the members of Shifter Squad Nine were finally learning to work as a team. They had each other's backs. When all was said and done, Dice found that he came to appreciate and respect the band of misfits.

I really enjoyed this book as it gave action suspense and love - what more could you ask. Dice met Meredith and knew she was his mate but failed to act and then she goes missing. Meredith is a scientist and gets kidnapped by the Arctic's- she doesn't think she will ever see Dice again. Dice a Bear shifters and an ex seal and now works with a ragtag group he doesn't trust, employed to deal with and take out the group called the Arctic's- If I say any more I may give away too much of the story and I hate when reviewers spoil it for other readers. Definitely worth reading, especially if you love shifter stories:-)

This book wasn't for me. It was easy to read and took me less than a day but I actually skimmed because I didn't like the characters and some things didn't make sense at all.

In this book we meet Dice and Meredith. Both of them think the other has been dead for the last 5 years. Little did either of them know that the other is still alive and all they want in the world is for the other half of them to come back. Meredith is a scientist that has been working on a formula to regenerate the healing process in shifters faster. The thing is she has been dragging her feet on finishing her research because she doesn't want the group that kidnapped her to have it. That all changes one day when she is about to be shuttled off to another area. Something amazing happens her other half finds her again. To bad they can't be together quite yet. Meredith wonders will they ever be together or will they die trying to get back to each other?
Dice was sure his mate had died before he ever got a chance to tell her how he really felt. He has felt like he has been drifting for years without her. So when he learns she is alive the only thing he can think is I have to get to her. However things aren't that simple there are other things at play that are still determined to keep him from his mate. Dice will go as long as he can but one way or another he will get his mate. The thing he worries about is when he does will they loose each other again as soon as their together?

Very Good!
This book had lots of fast paced action, a good vs bad plot & some sex scenes.
Meredith is a scientist working on a project to regenerate cells for healing under duress for the bad guys. But, one day she again got to meet up with her mate as they needed some info from her; during that day her mate & her had sex.
Dice is a bear shifter who works for a different agency & he's not too happy when he has to send his mate back into the enemy's hands. He's really unhappy about that when he finds out that she'd been pregnant with their child & now said child is being used to control her into doing her work with the bad guys.
Dice & his team go into save both Meredith & his child; but you'll have to read the book to find out if they made it out & if Dice's team makes it out in 1 piece & if they get away with their boss not finding out about their unauthorized rescue mission.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced a reader copy of this book and it was awesome loved it so much It had it all excitement betray and love warmth and sexy hot steamy love what more can you ask for Love Anya Nowlans books but the squads are so hot love every story she comes up with.

Getting busy in the jungle
Never in her wildest dreams did Meredith ever imagine she would be rescued but least of all by her long time love Dice. Dice wanted kill Spade for knowing where she's been held captive all these years. Learning your mate's was gone after you get back from being captured and tortured on a mission but you and your crew escape get interrogated by high officials and to learn to supposedly died. This book is an interesting series just like the shifter squad six good. It's Always Spade. Is he really a bad guy working both sides? Did he loose his love one to the Artics? What's the deal? And for a bunch of misfits they sure come together well . Although I need to keep my eye on Thor.

I like the longer story. You get a much better feel for the characters and more story to enjoy. And far more depth to both. Which novellas lack. I enjoyed the first series Shifter Squad 6 though the books lacked enough difference between the characters stories to be really good. I hope that this series will not follow along that same way. I'm probably one of few that like Spade and really want to know his story. I hope we get to learn it. This is a good story I recommend it.

Separated by Dice's military service and Meredith's supposed death, Dice takes charge of The Firm's newest team Shifter Squad Nine. Talented, yes. Fierce, definitely. Slightly insane, probably a little more than slightly. But when the chips are down, they're simply the best. Tension filled, violent missions. Fated love. Looking forward to reading book two.

Good read!
This is the first book by this author that I have read. I am very glad I gave it a try. I really enjoyed the storyline. It is quick moving with a fair amount of action. The characters are well developed, and take you along for the ride on the emotional journey to their HEA. I one clicked this book over others in this genre because of it being offered in audio format.

Omg can I say YAY another set of Shifter squad books. This is a new series focusing on squad nine and let me say even though I would love to strangle Slade I am glad he and The Firm are back. I received a free copy of this book and volunteered to review it.

This is book 1 in the new series Shifter Squad Nine by the author and it is a great book to read. Catches your attention at the start and holds it until the end.

Great
I enjoyed this very much. When Dice discovered after five years of dealing with the loss of Meredith that she was actually still alive, he did everything in his power to rescue her from the terrorist group that had kid napped her and faked her death.

Fantastic Book!

Love conquers all.
This story was a little slow to start, but it's worth sticking with it. Dice is a Navy Seal alpha and Maradeth is a geeky scientist. Through a series of events they are separated and think, but do not want to believe, the other is dead. Add Slade, I haven't quite figured out his roll, and a crazy ass squad of miscreants and over zealous wolf Shifters wanting to be at the top of the food chain, an unexpected pregnancy, and you have an action packed story. Will love conquer all and will Dice and Maradeth get their HEA? You'll have to read to find out.

I absolutely adored this book and simply had to give it 5*, I am a huge fan of Anya Nowlan’s books, she is a super talented writer and if you are reading this review and haven’t checked out her work then i would say run and get her work, you won't be disappointed and i know you will be a fan of her work for life!
What an amazing storyline!!! I was hooked from the first page and there was so much action in this storyline you can't help yourself, you have to keep turning the pages to find out what drama is going to happen next. I don't want to say too much about the storyline as i really don't want to give anything away as there are many surprises and lots of suspense in this book with a huge dose love, pain, fear.
I have so much awe in Meredith’s character, she goes through so much in this book and the strength and composure that she shows is amazing! No matter what is going on she is still determined to remain strong and have hope, never giving up and i thought that was the most amazing thing about her! Dice….Wow what a character!! He is a character that you read about all day! Without a doubt he is an alpha male with power coating everything that he does, he really believes in his own code of right and wrong and will stick by that no matter what others around him are doing or saying! When he cares, he cares so so deeply and never gives up on a person. At first i was unsure what i would think about the other men in this book but the more the book went on the more that i liked them and can't wait to read more about them!

WOW! I give this story FIVE HEARTS It's so edgy and it will give you hot flashes throughout the book! The sex scenes were absolutely awesome and the story has a edge of danger to it. I loved this story, thought it was seductive and wanted to read more about this alluring couple, even after the book was finished. It's such a wonderful read, I couldn’t put it down. The scene where Dice and Meredith met and spends one night together is beyond hot. Of course there is plenty of other smoking scenes that will melted my ereader. Read this story! I mean is there any better way to spend a day or weekend! I hope you are tempted , but prepare to make this a favorite. This is another great start to a scorching hot romance series by this author that I love! I must admit I thoroughly enjoyed reading this steamy and interesting book, it's a very entertaining read. It's well written with a good story-line, which offers drama, suspense, intrigue, action, threats, a A-team of shifters, defiance, accusations, danger, betrayal, a traitor, emotional feelings and love. The characters have skills according to their personality. I would recommend this book to people that like to read a well written shifter romance with a HEA.

Crazy Ex Navy Seals and a love story
They were named Suicide Squad Nine and deserved the name. Their leader Dice Alderson was forced into the position by The Firm. Meredith was Dice's mate and presumed dead. This is a love story, a war story, a rescue mission, a thriller all rolled into one. I am a fan of this author and have read many if her books /series. Recommend this book and this author.

I have been taken hostage for The Arctics, and yet for some reason these select few who keep me in their sites are close to me. I don't really feel completely safe with them, but it could be worse. Hi, my name is Meredith, one minute I was a woman happy in love (even after a short time - no matter) and the next a prisoner for 6 long years. Something is missing in my life....that would be my werebear man Dice. I miss him so much. Something is amiss today though with this little trip with my captors. It is all about to go down.
It has been 6 long years. During this time it has been one assignment after another. Now I am supposed to make this pack of misfits that no one else wants into a lean mean Shifter Squad group machine. I have to say odds are this isn't going to happen, but it may be close, they call me Slice 'n Dice, I am known to others as Dice. Then I find out from my friend, who I owe my life to, has known where my mate is. I am outraged and on top of that I am supposed to go in and take care of things, and bring her in so she can just be transported out again....nuh-uh. We'll just see about that.
The Shifter Squad 9 does go in, they do get to blow things up, shoot at things, and carry on in their typical misfit ways. Until Dice lets the team in on his mate being in there. Then it is all hands on deck to bring her in alive. Once she is safe, Dice and Meredith have some getting to know one another again moments, and then on a plane she goes to be debriefed, but the leader of all of the Shifter Squads decides to sent her right back into the mouth of hell. Dice is to say the least NOT pleased. He makes it more than well known. When mouthing off to his friend and leader, Dice is shown pictures of Meredith, and there is something else that catches his eyes. Whoa. A very pleasant surprise indeed, however he was NEVER told. Now there is no holding back.
She is kept in a cell with other scientist woman, and they are to prove themselves worthy, for any type of reprieve from their captors. This is just not at all how Meredith wants to live but yet something is keeping her on the path of pleasing these jerks. Something very VERY important. She will do nothing to jeopardize that, EVER. All of a sudden she is yanked out of the cell, put in a dress and heels and makeup and is sent to mingle at a who's who party. Things are out of sorts. Then she spots those eyes. Those eyes holding her in their site when she is told from the "big guy" what will happen to her and the very thing that means the absolute most to her.
Big events start at this point, there is gun fire, several men going into war mode and rescuing the damsel in distress again, only this time they need to pick up this precious cargo. Dice knows, Meredith is trying to tell him, and then another surprise kicks in. Oh my things are getting heated quickly, and not just between Dice and Meredith. Now there will be hell to pay, starting with these bad guys and Dice intends to take this to the top of his list, his friend/leader. Can he get that done? Does Meredith get to tell Dice about what she tried to before? Where do they go from here? What are the twists and all the commotion this team go through??? It is all in this most awesome book. You'll need to read it to find out.

It has been 6 long years. During this time it has been one assignment after another. Now I am supposed to make this pack of misfits that no one else wants into a lean mean Shifter Squad group machine. I have to say odds are this isn't going to happen, but it may be close, they call me Slice 'n Dice, I am known to others as Dice. Then I find out from my friend, who I owe my life to, has known where my mate is. I am outraged and on top of that I am supposed to go in and take care of things, and bring her in so she can just be transported out again....nuh-uh. We'll just see about that.
The Shifter Squad 9 does go in, they do get to blow things up, shoot at things, and carry on in their typical misfit ways. Until Dice lets the team in on his mate being in there. Then it is all hands on deck to bring her in alive. Once she is safe, Dice and Meredith have some getting to know one another again moments, and then on a plane she goes to be debriefed, but the leader of all of the Shifter Squads decides to sent her right back into the mouth of hell. Dice is to say the least NOT pleased. He makes it more than well known. When mouthing off to his friend and leader, Dice is shown pictures of Meredith, and there is something else that catches his eyes. Whoa. A very pleasant surprise indeed, however he was NEVER told. Now there is no holding back.
She is kept in a cell with other scientist woman, and they are to prove themselves worthy, for any type of reprieve from their captors. This is just not at all how Meredith wants to live but yet something is keeping her on the path of pleasing these jerks. Something very VERY important. She will do nothing to jeopardize that, EVER. All of a sudden she is yanked out of the cell, put in a dress and heels and makeup and is sent to mingle at a who's who party. Things are out of sorts. Then she spots those eyes. Those eyes holding her in their site when she is told from the "big guy" what will happen to her and the very thing that means the absolute most to her.
Big events start at this point, there is gun fire, several men going into war mode and rescuing the damsel in distress again, only this time they need to pick up this precious cargo. Dice knows, Meredith is trying to tell him, and then another surprise kicks in. Oh my things are getting heated quickly, and not just between Dice and Meredith. Now there will be hell to pay, starting with these bad guys and Dice intends to take this to the top of his list, his friend/leader. Can he get that done? Does Meredith get to tell Dice about what she tried to before? Where do they go from here? What are the twists and all the commotion this team go through??? It is all in this most awesome book. You'll need to read it to find out.

This book starts off with a lose bunch of guys disjointed to say the least. Not exactly a crew but labeled as such. Their Alpha spends months just getting them to work together and then on a job they find Merideth again and she's being threatened. So much for sticking to the script. This series looks like it's going to be as much fun as Shifter Squad Six was.

All i can say is it's action packed , full of shifter's fighting shifters. The bad guys not above killing innocent children to get what they want and SEAL shifters doing whatever it takes to save the women and children and get the job done !! Meredith and Dice make the best couple , lots of heat. 4⭐'s . It's the perfect balance of military blow stuff up and shifters using claws, fangs and stealing helicopters to get them to safety. I recieved a gifted copy and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.
