What they find instead are a group of battle-hardened Chechen fighters and a lot of dead Boko Haram. After a deadly firefight, they re left only with the knowledge that they are running out of time to find out who now has Rip so they can bring him home.
Meanwhile, Rip s new captor, the enigmatic terrorist lieutenant Michael Nasry, is intent on using the former SEAL for his own ends. And he ll do whatever it takes to get Rip to cooperate. But this new terrorist threat isn t the only thing that the warriors of SEAL Team Six have to contend with; each man has his own personal demons, and sometimes the difference between right and wrong isn t as clear as they might like.

Entertaining and seems very realistic look into lives of Seal Team members including while at home and problems on the home front. These books weren't just about the Seal missions, but about the stress of missions, both successful and not so successful. There were some great twists that weren't the predictable twists you expect in stories written for TV.
I really enjoyed the character development of each character, even the villains in the story. This was a great series that sadly doesn't go on after two books. I would have liked to read more stories like this!

After reading the first book, I was excited to embark on this second book. It did feel a little rushed, as if Charles Sasser wanted to get this book out quickly. However, this book was a nice little conclusion(?) to the fate of the White Sqaudron team.

Not bad but not good

This story was average in all respects. A lot of cliche stuff regarding special operations personnel. As noted, not bad.

Great read!

I loved all the twists and turns this book took. I was very surprised by the ending and I hope the author comes up with the third installment in the series. If you like action, drama, and surprise endings I guarantee you'll love this two book series!
