I really enjoyed this book! One of my favourite Actus collections. Actus is a collective of comic book artists based in Tel Aviv. More than graphic novellas, as the book claims, these are graphic short stories, and a couple of them are graphic vignettes, that is drawings with text on the side.

anything with art by rutu modan catches my attention immediately. the book is a collection of comics and art pieces that are a loose conversation of love by israeli graphic artists. the colors and pictures throughout are really lovely. they make me want to crawl into them and not come back.
First Second Books

Meh.
I was reading this for the Rutu Modan piece, but it was one that appeared in a previous volume. And it wasn't that great to begin with.
Some of the stories are nonsensical, which always annoys me.

I'm not really an anthology girl, but the cover and title kept jumping out at me so I gave it a try. It didn't change my mind, or open new worlds, but it was OK.

Some of it was good, but nothing very notable. Worthwhile from the library.
