It just goes to show that you should never assume anything! Mason and Sophia’s wedding is getting closer. What with awkward dress fittings, unexpected missions and a trip down memory lane, these two are both stressing out. I loved the final chapters! This is a great story.
*** reviewed without any monies or request *** this SEAL team series has to be one of my favourites, and Mason Gault and Sophia Anderson from the first book in the series return in this 'wedding special'. my favourite scene was the dress shopping trip, I guess having fun with my daughter while doing the same thing gave it a special perspective, but it's a funny but very real scene. Mason has jumped to conclusions, Sophia is getting a bit stressed, which has both feeling that they must deal with stuff alone... but relationships are a team thing... Will both of them realize that before they make the wrong choice? I was glued to the story while I rocked my new granddaughter with her upset tummy. this story was just what I needed to keep me entertained in the wee hours while my daughter got some well needed rest. readers are a godsend while holding newborns! And great storylines a must to keep me awake. Ms. O'Leary delivers every time. which is why I will continue to get each book as it releases. Thankfully I have a few more to read from her collections.
This is based upon the first book in the series. You get to learn more about the hero and heroine in the between between the first one and this one.
In this short but sweet book, centers on the time just before they get married. Their relationship is great, they've all settled into a routine. However, the one major thing that's never happened before happens - the hero comes home injured and its not even major. However, it unsettles the heroine to no end and she won't acknowledge it either. She's not sleeping well, not eating and is even losing weight. Finally, the hero brings it up and she doesn't want to talk about it. When she finally goes though the stuff from her mother's death, it makes everything they go through sit correctly within her. However, will it affect if our hero and heroine get married or not?
I adored getting to spend some more time with Mason and Sophia!!
So much was packed into this novella - missions, family time, wedding excitement - and nothing felt jipped. Mason and Sophia still are one of my favorite CO'L couples and getting to see their love and devotion to each other still growing and surviving whatever hurdles they faced.
I giggled like crazy with Drake being the ladies' chauffeur and protector at the bachelorette party, and loved the guys having Mason's back at his. And I still can connect so well with Sophia's unique mix of fragile strength. Then there were the couple of moments where the tears were flowing.
So much goodness packed into a sweet and little package!
This beautiful book circles back around to the first in this series, bringing us the final steps towards Mason and Sophia's HEA. While each book in this series is a standalone romance, this one is an exception as it revisits an existing couple. You'll definitely want to read their story, Her Vigilant SEAL (Book 1 of the Midnight Delta series), before reading this one.
Like all couples, they still have a few things to work out, and how they do that makes for one of the most romantic books I've read. These two have real chemistry that shows through each and every scene. This book has everything - humor, passion, trust, family, and all the love we've come to expect from this author. I couldn't love this book, or this series, more. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This little Novella will make you laugh, will make you cry and will bring you back to visit the family that is Midnight Delta as they come together to celebrate the wedding of Mason and Sophia. I wanted the wedding scene and I got it. So happy! However, favorite scene was the Bachelorette Party with Drake and the girls. I love my Drake!
Mason and Sophia 's wedding is quickly approaching! But....Mason is wounded and Sophia is struggling internally. Will Mason have stop being his team's leader?
I laughed out loud with this short story. There love is true and strong. The DEAL's have chosen well.
This one is ALL feels, ALL good! Happy, over the moon in love tears, sad reminiscent circle of life tears, as Mason and Sophia near their wedding day. Excellent reading, with the whole gang in attendance, and remembering why each is so special. I still laugh and marvel at the comraderie between this family of Seals and their families
Sophia is my favorite female so far. She is the most caring person of everyone. Mason is the leader of his team and caring person of all. Thank God he saved Sophia. They are soul mates. I loved their story and wedding. You have done it again Caitlyn. Your stories just flow with love and suspense.
As Mason and Sophia's wedding is almost upon them it becomes a time for reminiscing and recriminations, laughter and tears, anxieties and joys. A raucous bachelorette party turns into more then the ladies bargained for while the bachelor party is subdued by comparison. When Mason and Sophia finally become man and wife fulfills all their dreams.
Mason and Sophie are an amazing couple. I have enjoyed following their love story through the course of the other men's romances, and to see them finally say I do is amazing. Another amazing book Caitlyn O'Leary.
Mason only wants to protect the love of his life, and shield her from whatever will harm her.
5 stars for A Seal's Vigilant Heart by Caitlyn O'Leary
What a beautiful love story. Could not put it down. So many feels you will definitely need tissues. You will fall in love with Mason and Sophia. Love how they have each other's backs. Can't wait for the next instalment of Midnight Delta Seal Team.
After his last mission that ended with him being injured, Mason saw Sophia start going through her own battles within her dreams. Thinking that it was because of his job he thought about changing his career. But will that be enough? Would he have been better off talking to her first? With their upcoming marriage they both have to open up to each other.
Mason Gault is a Navy Sea that saved Sophia Anderson and her brother. They fell in love and is getting married. Mason got hurt on his last mission. Thinking is upset he thinking of a desk job. She finally after nightmares she.tells him what was causing it. He is supportive for both her and her brother
Loving, and heart clenching. It's bad enough what Sofia had to go through in her young life. But the worse could have been the misunderstanding between Mason and Sofia. The love these two share is absolutely amazing.
A node back to the first couple that kicked off this series. This snipet races as Mason and Sophia walk down the aisle. It was sweet getting to catch up on the guys and the girls like a little break from the action of the main books. Writing style again is impeccable.
I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. I really enjoyed all of the characters. This was a book of compassion, remembrance, and happiness Also Mason and Sophia finally coming together as man in wife. Great read!
This was a great love story! Very healing. However it teaches you not to assume..ever. mistakes are made that way. Mason almost makes the biggest mistake of his life.
