Not much to say about this volume that I didn't already mention about the first. The artwork and coloring are lovely, as one would expect from Cliff Sterrett. Some of the gags fail to rise to the heights of the art and storytelling, but everyone has their off days. And there's the occasional racist caricature to remind you that these strips are close to a hundred years old (as I'm writing this.) It was most definitely a different era.
Cliff Sterrett had a wonderful visual imagination, and the fact that he's not mentioned alongside such masters as George Herriman or Frank King or Windsor McKay is a crying shame. If you have any love for classic comic strips and their history, definitely check out Polly & Her Pals. Recommended!
