The popularity of riding and racing on unpaved roads has exploded in the last five years. With iconic events selling out in hours and field sizes for races in the thousands, the rural adventure of remote roads has resonated with a wide spectrum of riders and families. This is an awesome book! I vacillated for months as to whether to buy it, thinking it would be one-dimensional, but it turned out to be an amazing resource for all kinds of cycling: road, gravel, mountain, touring, bikepacking. There are wonderful vignettes of gravel rides all over the world, plenty for the bucket list. And plenty of solid advice to give one confidence to get out there. I'll be keeping this one on the shelf!

Not only does Gravel Cycling offer enjoyable reading and all the information I had hoped for, the book also features beautiful photos on most pages. This is the type of book screaming to be read on the printed page. I highly recommend purchasing a physical copy.

Gravel Riding is a bit of an odd mixture: the intro describes gravel riding as a pleasant, hassle-free enjoyment suitable for mostly everyone - but then immediately launches into a long section of gravel competitions requiring a fair level of expertise to even complete, let alone to properly race. Similarly, there are parts where 'any bike will be fine', but large parts of the book are dedicated to what can only be de

This is an incredible book! The book itself is high quality with good paper and crisp, clear photos. The format is laid out very well with a good mix of reading content and photos. It really drew me in and kept me turning the pages. There was not a single dull or boring page in the book
