I have to confess that I only read the section that related to my visit to Wisconsin. Went camping at Devil's Lake which is located in the Central part of the state. The book was helpful for my first time visit to the area.

A good resource, but really the best way to get the info is reading cover to cover. For a tourist type guide, there’s definitely a lack of images, maps etc. I think the book would be much more effective if it was an easier page through type of book.

We bought this the year that Ethan was on chemotherapy to try to explore places nearby. I love this travel book series for a place where you are going to be in the area for awhile--there are some great little finds that we have alot of fun finding and going to.

A good review of the most popular of WI tourist destinations.
