This 40-day combination book includes BOTH the Love to Pray devotional and the Love to Pray Study Guide in one easy-to-use book for a church going through the 40 Days of Prayer Initiative or for an individual small group. In addition to the devotional, this book gives practical step-by-step direction for stimulating sessions--group interaction time, inductive Bible study, praying together--and suggests prayer-action steps for follow up after each session.
I suck at prayer, and this has not only given me practical tools to help me pray, but more importantly it has fueled a desire to pray more. As the author says, “prayer is the conversational part of the most important relationship in our lives.” I love that thought so much that I’m re-reading this book to help me keep growing in prayer.
this wasnt just a prayer devotional..this was a teaching...an extreme look at your own prayer life and how to increase and deepen your life of prayer!! highly recommend !
Read this book as part of a study. Not my fav and left me with lots of unanswered thoughts or unclear statements. Found the author a bit too vanilla and rigid.
