Forever Rose is a time travelling romance. Although I love time travel stories, I have not read a lot of books with this theme. Agreeing to read Forever Rose made me see how much I have been missing.

Alessandro Santini is a 21st century Italian surgeon. He inadvertently stepped into a portal created by the super moon, a phenomenon that occurs every fourteen months. A portal, which took him from 2037 to 1737.

Upon his teleportation to 1737, he met Rose who bore an uncanny resemblance to his dead wi

'Forever Rose’ takes the readers into the 18th century Italy. It is a love story that transcends time. The year is 1737. It is the year of the death of the beautiful Rose Estes. But Alex, who comes from the year 2037, is in love with Rose and he’s ready to take whatever it does in order to save Rose.

Although the very concept of time travel sounds ridiculous, I found the blurb to be interesting. And so I agreed to review this book. To my surprise, I found myself hooked up till the very last page.

If you love Outlander then I think you will love this book! I'm not much for time travel, but this one is amazing and doesn't have a lot of time travel. I was hooked from the start when they met because they were a match for each other in different ways. The mystery is a good one and even though I could figure out most parts there were still some twists that I didn't se

"If you weren't so sweet, I would have had you on your back with you heels in the air a long time ago."

Okay so a little back story on me.  I work at a used bookstore that an old friend of mine owns.  I met said friend through an ex of mine around 10 years ago and I got to keep said friend in the breakup.  About 2 and a half years ago, I finally decided to leave my crap job in a machine shop due to some sexist employers and was in desperate

This is a time traveling, clean romance novel. The story and plot started out strongly, quickly grabbing my attention. There were parts of the story that were less interesting than others but as a whole, this is a good read.

Alex winds up discovering a portal during a super moon, causing him to be transported into the past. There he discovers Rose who looks exactly like his dead wife. Alex is forced to stay in this strange time until he can discover a way to open a portal back to his own time.

With a diligent editor this would be effectively perfect, as it is it is very very good. Ms. Oprea has excellent and involving characters, a good plot, and convincing situations. Her command of the setting is very strong, often in non obvious ways, and her errors are those of niggling importance (for example Eucalyptus did not come to Tuscany for another century and a half). It is nice to have a time travel romance that does not constantly remind one of Outlander, and the heroine has enough goin ...more

I was born in Vaslui, Romania, and came to America in 2001. I attended college in the US and have a master’s in science. I live in Nashville, Tennessee with my husband and son, where I enjoy cooking, baking, fashion, interior design, reading, and spending time with my family. I’m not good at relaxing, so I tend to have a lot of projects around the house, in addition to writing, writing, writing. F ...more
