One of the things young children enjoy is hearing the same story repeated. One of the things I like best about the classic like, The Three Little Pigs is that you can find versions by many authors and it is fun to read the different versions and ask the children to listen for differences in the story. This is a good memory exercise and they have to listen for details to find the differences. This easy reader is an excellent story for readers to read alone a familiar story theme that they can figure out. It has a glossary of five words at the back to help increase young reader's reading vocabulary.
