Goodnight Jesus

Rate this book
Goodnight Jesus is a sweet, gentle story that acknowledges all the people we know and love as nighttime draws near and bedtime kisses are given to everyone from saints to siblings. What better way than through a kiss to say goodbye to the day? This 24-page board book, beautifully illustrated by iconographer and artist Nicholas Malara, is sturdy enough for lots of use and will become the favorite of many little ones who want just one last kiss before drifting off to sleep.

This beautiful little board book for toddlers makes me want to have more babies, just so that they can grow up loving Goodnight Jesus. I have given copies of this to several young families in our parish, as I am convinced that it's a tremendous blessing for little ones to fall in love with the icon-like images here. This is one of the best board books out there, hands down.

One of the nicest orthodox books for children.

Being such an intellectual and deeply spiritual path, alot of orthodox books for kids try to pack too much in that goes right over children's heads.

This book simply teaches them to love Jesus, mary and the saints and Express that love in much the same way as treat our physical human family.

My daughter and I absolutely love this book. She and I will read it before she goes to bed and I like asking her to say good night to each of the figures depicted. I especially enjoy the end and the way she leans forward to give the little baby a kiss goodnight as well. A wonderful book and quite enjoyable.
