A Mistletoe Moment
Sam Henry does NOT want to be at her office Christmas party. With a big promotion on the line and the ex that broke her heart at the gathering, the chances of actual fun are slim to none. Until the end of the night, when Sam collides with Tilda Banks, a hot bartender working the party. And all it takes is a sprig of mistletoe to make sparks fly... Just before Tilda, sacked in disgrace, is thrown out by the manager, destroying the moment and the chance to exchange numbers
The next day, neither woman can shake the memory of the brief kiss and both decide to track each other down. But it's not as easy it looks.

‘A Mistletoe Moment’ is a novella about two women in their late twenties. They meet when Sam’s company is having a Christmas party at the bar Tilda is bar tending at. They have a kiss under a mistletoe. Later they realize they never got each other’s information and spend the rest of the story trying to find each other again.
I thought the premise of this one was pretty cute. Sam and Tilda don’t spend a lot of time together but I was left smiling and feeling hopeful for them. If nothing else, they help each other put things into perspective. A sweet and funny read for sure.

Nice Christmas story. Liked the premise but in the end found the story a little bit too longwinded. So 3 stars.

A delightful and hilarious festive farce, on kindle unlimited.
This was a great little novella. But it felt very fleshed out with side characters and family issues, job issues etc. It really impressed me!
Sam and Tilda meet at a bar where Tilda is the tender and Sam's corporate job is having their Christmas party. Tilda is free spirited, flies by the seat of her pants. Sam is stuck in a rut, in her job and pining over an ex she realizes she never had a future with.
There's sizzling chemistry, and a kiss under the mistletoe and then they are suddenly out of each other's orbit but desperate to try and find one another again. Thus starts their hilarious antics.
Now admittedly they spend most of the time in their efforts to find each other, with whackier circumstances and heightened emotions playing out. The dialogue was funny and had me laughing out loud a lot! But I was right there and so for it!
It was truly a fun romp to get to the end, and while yes I would have loved more time with the couple - the road to get there was so fun I cannot complain at all!
I would highly recommend this KU read for those who want something a little different, still funny and sweet, and a touch of love starting out!

I laughed out loud more than once reading this story. Very well written novella, with good character development and secondary characters. Despite the main plot line being two women meeting and developing romantic interest for each other, it felt more like a family dramedy to me.

3 stars - this was just an ok read for me. The MCs spend the entire story trying to track each other down. They are separated through most of the story and I just never really clicked with either of them and so was not really invested in them getting together. The book has a clever ending but still just left me feeling a bit meh. It’s probably just me, so don’t let my lack of enthusiasm deter you from reading if the premise sounds good to you. The book is well written, it’s just not a book for me.

Perfect!
I’ve read a few of West’s books and really enjoyed all of them so when I saw that she had a Christmas themed book, I was very excited. Let me tell you - this didn’t disappoint. It was such a sweet, fun, happy story with just the littlest bit of drama thrown in to keep it from being too fluffy! There aren’t enough good lesbian Christmas stories out there, but this definitely helps to fill the void!

This well written book is about two women, strangers, who share a kiss under the mistletoe at a Christmas party, and then try to track each other down in the following days. Although from different backgrounds with different aspirations, neither woman can forget that kiss. If you enjoy happily-ever-afters, put this book on your must read list.

i loved the search by both main characters. them not hitting brick walls, but finding a way to further their search. by having real life issues,. with supporting characters like a kickass dad,and a fun bestie what more could these two have asked for.

it is sweet and nice. for the story, 3 stars. I rated it 1 stars, because there is mention of my religion and i don't like the way the author used it. And it could be avoidable.

Good but too short
This a story that had so much potential in its creative & captivating storyline but ends up a disappointing novelette, falling well short of expectations.
Lacking connectivity & complexity in development, details & depth in the scenes, characters & situations leaves it feeling more like a summary or outline—not a finished book. Everything seemed to happen in like warp speed & without establishing enough emotions or imagery to personalize & identify with...
If the author reissued an updated version that developed & expounded on the characters & the narrative more, it could potentially be more than just a quickie subpar offering.

This started really well and it was cute and had a good ending. But it was also overly dramatic, everyone overreacted and they were all extremely judgemental towards every single secondary character, and the methods Sam and Tilda used to find each other with Tilda's phone as the vector were extremely unrealistic. To be fair, it did all lead to some good character development but honestly, even though I usually love zany adventures, by 60% I just wanted all the melodrama to end and for them to just find each other already.

Esse é o tipo de livro que você pensa que daria um ótimo filme de Natal. Ele é muito leve e divertido.
Eu ainda não li muitos livros da Natasha West, mas os que li até o momento sempre te causam uma boa sensação e te colocam um sorriso no rosto. Esse no entanto, me fez realmente dar gargalhadas.
Eu não gosto da ideia de Natal frio, eu gosto de passá-los com roupas leves e no calor. Mas uma das únicas coisas que eu invejo na tradição de Natal de algum outro país, é o mistletoe. Parece divertido!

Sam and Tilda meet at a Christmas party where Tilda is tending bar. They have one quick little kiss under the mistletoe and spend the rest of the book trying to find each other through the magic of the cell phone! This novella is a fun, quick romp around town with a little help from Dad and maybe a little change in the future for each of them! 😉

Cute holiday Sapphic romance but I really didn't vibe with it.
The plot felt rushed and the characters were incredibly bland. Also there was zero chemistry between the love interests. Like absolutely zilch. Nothing. Nada. Which made this book pretty boring and forgettable 🤷♀️

Writing was choppy and disjointed, it feels like fragments. I couldn’t stomach to finish this book especially since I really enjoyed the hawke series and was getting into west’s writing.

This sweet, short tale is the first story I've read by the author. I rooted for both mains throughout the story. I don't think Sam and Tilda would have made much progress without the supporting characters. Mom was a piece of work.
