I downloaded Releasing the Wolf as a free ebook from Amazon. Here is a book that could easily have been a 4 or 5-star read due to a really interesting storyline--well, until the 95 percent mark, in which the conflict became unbelievably ridiculous. Filled with spelling errors (holt=halt, tall=tell, fin=find), nonsense phrases, and dropped words-- this book would have really benefited by proofreaders and a clean edit. Grammar nerds, don't bother, the dropped possessive "s" apostrophes will drive

Aimie Jennison drags her reader into her paranormal world of wolves in Releasing The Wolf. She shows many different types of wolves from alpha, beta, omega, creepy, loving, careless and many other intense personalities. Frankie is living a human life and has no idea who she truly is. Eventually the past and present collide. Jesse is the alpha of the Rossi pack and has been looking out for Frankie for years. Now that Frankie's secret is out can Jesse protect her from harm. Who can Frankie trust?

Jesse and Frankie
Jesse is the pack alpha. He has been watching over Frankie since she was seven and her parents were killed. She is a special woman because she is an Omega and is not moon-called, which means she can bear young to full-term. Because of this, she is wanted by other packs, especially the one that killed her parents.
My only complaint about .This book is English usage and I am not sure if what I see as wrong is not because it is UK English.

Good story, lots of excitement, some danger, conflict and romance.
I hate cliffhangers, so the book lost one star, otherwise it's a five star story. It does need a good going over for misused words and typos as there are a few that intrude when you are reading. The author does a great job of building her characters and storyline, and keeps the action moving without it becoming confused or scattered. I will be looking for other books of hers.

Proof Reading
Loved the storyline for the most part with exception of poor proof readers and major grammatical errors. No idea when the next book is coming out so not sure I like that. I read a lot of shifter books and the one thing they all adhere to is solved mate for life and only have one true mate. Maybe research your animal better.

I love this author and this world she has invented. I can not wait until she releases the next book in either series. Her characters are full bodied and relatable. Her heroine is strong and independent. I think her editing needs work, though it might be the queen’s English as opposed to American English. But it didn’t keep me from reading eagerly.

A five star werewolf story
The plot is a bit standard - alpha wolf falls for new innocent female wolf, overcoming all obstacles. What makes this worth five stars is that it’s character driven and has enough different nuances to stay interesting. One complaint though is that the book could really have used a good proofreading. ...more
