"Good news we're letting you out early, bad news is your wife is dead."

So begins the story of Shadow who leaves prison and is recruited by a God who recruits him in a war against the new Gods of technology. This coloring book is a tie in to the television show "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman.

There are three illustrators and 96 pages in this heavy duty coloring book. I have been using gel pens and the pages are strong enough to not leak through. This is definitely an adult coloring book as there is some nudity and some violence on the pages.

This is extremely well done and anyone who is a fan of the series will want this book. I received it as part of the Goodreads giveaway program and I can highly recommend it.

A very odd book. The story line was weird, there where drawings of naked women that just didn't make sense.

It's ok. Pages that loosely follow the story, not all plot points of course. I'm not sure what I expected exactly, but Gaiman has used so many excellent artists, I guess I wanted different art. Some of it is interesting, some, well, is like a children's coloring book.
