St. John #5

Jewel of the Sea

While on his way to retrieve a damaged vessel, Jacob St. John’s ship makes a brief stop in Cuba for supplies. While at a local tavern, an exotic white-haired beauty offers to help ease his loneliness, but instead of an erotic interlude, Jacob wakes up to find the temptress drugged him. Chained in the belly of a ship, he vows revenge on the beautiful pirate.

Julianna Ranvier has made a deal with the devil, Donald Newsome, the quartermaster of her ship, to drug unsuspecting sailors in order to gather a crew. It’s the only way to save her brother’s life. After she has acquired the needed crew, she learns the truth—that Newsome has no intention of fulfilling his end of the bargain. As Julianna’s world crumbles around her, she must seek assistance from the one man who may never help her, the man she drugged—Jacob St. John.

As fate takes them to Morocco, France, England and home again, can Jacob fight the desire coursing through his veins and seek the vengeance he so desperately craves or will he allow himself to succumb to this Jewel of the Sea?

The stories of the St. John siblings and their lovers keep getting better and better! In Jewel of the Sea, Jacob St. John is drugged by a beautiful temptress in a port bar. When he wakes up, he finds himself on a pirate ship and is forced to become part of the crew. The woman who drugged him, Julianna—or “Jules”—is the sister of the ship’s dying captain. The treacherous quartermaster has promised he knows a woman who can save her brother. Julianna soon learns it was a lie to get her to agree to help in the kidnapping of a crew.

Jacob finds himself sympathizing with her in spite of what she did to him, and he finds himself attracted to the sexy beauty. She helps him get free and together they fight to take over the ship, while fighting their attraction to each other. When Julianna is kidnapped to be sold into slavery, Jacob soon finds he’ll do anything to save his “jewel.”

Jewel of the Sea is full of adventure, fighting, and a lot of very hot romance!
