Yao and Artusio's Anesthesiology: Problem-Oriented Patient Management

Rate this book
Organized by body system, this book offers a logical, problem-oriented approach through the pre-, peri- and post-operative workup of the patient. A unique question-and-answer format prompts the correct response and offers reasons for the right answer, making this an excellent reference for both anesthesiologists and residents for treating the most frequently encountered clinical situations and the usual and unusual complications. This is an invaluable guide to preparing for the oral examination of the American Board of Anesthesiology.

Ok, Problem Oriented Patient Management is a bit of a stretch for this list. It isn’t quite an Anesthesia textbook, but it’s clearly not for most readers. A great read for any anesthesiologist, or non-physician anesthesia provider, but certainly beyond the interest of anyone who is not in one of those groups.

An excellent book.

Interactive and pleasant to read. Further, it comprises the most important topic in anesthesiology using a highly effective method for learning, PBL.
