4 - "Bring me in from the cold..." Stars!

Naima Simone returns with the fourth book in her Bachelor Auction Series; A Millionaire at Midnight, and if there was a couple that got off on the wrong foot, it is Morgan and Alexander.

I really like this series, the author isn’t shy about giving her heroines balls as big as her heroes in the attitude and confidence department, and it makes for some great verbal sparring and sexy-times.

The woman was a walking, snark-wielding danger sign.

I really enjoyed A Millionaire at Midnight by Naima Simone.
The storyline was well written, the characters Morgan & Alexander were, likable, endearing and had amazing chemistry.
Overall, A Millionaire at Midnight was a fun, sexy and entertaining read.

The Bachelor Auction has been a great series, each book has been a page turner and I highly recommend them.

Thank you to Entangled Indulgence for the advance copy.

Brilliant and original! What I love most about Simone's "millionaire" books is that they aren't the typical boss-chases-heroine-around-the-office stories. Even though we start once again at the bachelor auction, it's an entirely new set-up with vivid and entertaining characters who light up the pages from page 1 till the end.

Morgan is beautiful and snarky but also wounded and compassionate. And, Alex Bishop? Well, holy hell. Just hang on to your panties, ladies. He is the kind of hero I love th

-Second book I’ve read by Ms. Simone and I really enjoyed the characters. This is tied very loosely with the first book I read, The Millionaire Makeover, but it is absolutely not necessary to read the earlier books to enjoy this one, as there is little reference to those characters.
-The setup. Morgan just got dumped by her fiance, who was in love with her stepsister (ouch). Alex has been left by everyone he’s loved (double ouch). Alex has to prove his emotional stability by getting engaged. Morg

loved loved loved! I really enjoyed Alex and Morgan together. Ms. Simone's story are always emotional, lush, sensual, and A Millionaire at Midnight did not disappoint me at all. Morgan was so well drawn, I connected with her the instant she graced the pages. She made me laugh out loud several times, I felt her pain when her trust was broken, and I ached right along with her as she delved into the passion Alex inspired her to feel. Loved her. Alex was just as yummy, a very appealing and charming ...more

Just like all the others of this series so far.
I really really liked Morgan. She was such an amazing protagonist.
Alex was a pretty good lead as well.
I loved the wit of Morgan a lot. She made things so refreshing with her humour and her honesty.
Who can not love that?
The plot is sweet and goes with the premise.
Loved it.
Two socialites with very different histories but who can help each other achieve their personal goal . . . Sounds too good to be true? Well life will certainly throw a few spanners in the works for both of them! Morgan Lett has recently been dumped by her fiancé who is now planning on marrying her stepsister. Her stepfather has died and the charity foundation she passionately supports is in danger of losing its crucial base. On top of all that she's bid on a bachelor at a charity auction and won ...more

“The prince slid the glass slipper on Cinderella’s foot, and of course it was a perfect fit. So then he carried Cinderella to his waiting carriage and his castle where they wed. But the prince ended up being a cheating asshat, and Cinderella, who really wasn’t all that sweet in the first place, moved out, taking the prince for half his kingdom and his entire fleet of carriages. Which served him right because he should’ve kept his dick in his damn pants in the first place. The End.”

I absolutely adored this book. It was light, funny and had me emotionally invested from the very beginning. I thought the characters were very well drawn.

The hero, Alex is grumpy (swoons) closed off, a bit of an ass but is also so very sweet, add in the tattoos and there is no way I could help but fall in love with him. There is just something so sexy about a man who has such respect and love for the written word.

I loved Morgan, the heroine, she was funny, sarcastic, fierce and

A Millionaire at Midnight is the fourth book in the Bachelor Auctions series by Naima Simone. Combining some familiar tropes (such as enemies to lovers, best friend’s sibling, etc.) with super sexy and engaging romances, they’ve all been great reads. But I have to admit that this one is my favourite.

Morgan Lett and Alexander Bishop’s first encounter sets up a clash of strong personalities when Alex overhears Morgan saying that she’s on the hunt for a rich man who can put out in the sack. Thinkin

What a fun read that really pulls you in from the characters to the plot it was a very emotional read that I enjoyed. One man needs fiancée and a woman needs money for her foundation this should be easy to make happen right. They find each other and agree to help the other the only problem is they drive each other crazy from their actions to their passion which is off limits. This was supposes to easy but they are having a hard time keeping their hands off each other. Alexander may need a wife w ...more

Forced to encounter the cheating couple at countless society events Morgan makes every effort to get past the pain of betrayal by focusing on her charity foundation. A foundation that is now being threatened with eviction because the owner wants to sell the building.

This book was so much fun. You have your a typical alpha millionaire, Alexander Bishop. He is grumpy most days, a supper hot book reader, but also has a heart of gold. He has been burned by a few people that should never have hurt him. And you have your hilarious debutante, Morgan Lett . She comes from money, but has a true heart. She was engaged, but her fiancée decides to go for her stepsister. So why not create a false engagement. These two are so funny. Morgan will push every button Alexande ...more

I love this series so much. Naima Simone has put such a unique spin on each of these stories that really stem from the same trope almost. Its fantastic. I honestly thought I'd get bored with them but they are getting better and better!

Morgan Lett is an absolute high to read. She is strong and independent and really gives our hero a run for his money in the confidence department. She is anything but shy and it makes for fantastic sparks, in and out of the bedroom :) She was by far my favorite cha

I read book 1 in this series and really enjoyed it. I have all 4 books but for some reason I jumped to book 4 instead of reading them in order. This is Morgan and Alex's story. I really enjoy their story because Morgan was feisty and she was not afraid to seduce Alex out of his cold reserve. She brought humour and fun to the story. Definitely worth are a read. I will now have to go back and read books 2 and 3.
My Review:
First response: A fast read! It only took a couple of hours! But now it's 1 a.m., so I'll write the review in the morning after some sleep!

The reason this was such a fast read was the sense of fun and humor about it even when Morgan and Alexander were fighting and the chips were down. You just knew this couple was going to make it. And there were things that were so funny between them. He thought of her as a "walking, snark-wielding danger sign". He knew up front if he got too close, h
Gah, Goodreads lost my review!

After walking in on her fiancee declaring his undying love to her cousin Morgan Lett is feeling hurt and the subject of much spiteful gossip. Determined to show people she is not beaten, she decides to bid on a major hottie at the charity bachelor auction. Unfortunately the bachelor in question overhears her trying to dismiss her feelings about the recent betrayal to a couple of the worst gossips and decides that she is a brazen fortune hunter. I knew from the very first page that I would enjoy this book. It was sweet, fun, sexy, romantic and I really enjoyed this book overall. I could really root for the characters because they have both been through some heartbreaking events and are incredibly vulnerable. They didn't plan to fall in love and they were both pretty shocked when they did. They both really grew and overcame the things that were holding them back. Once they learned more and more about each other they realized how

I'm loving Naima Simone's Bachelor Auction series. The standalone fourth book, A Millionaire at Midnight features millionaire Alexander Bishop and socialite Morgan Lett.

Alex has six weeks to find a fiancée or he can kiss running his family company goodbye. It doesn't matter that he saved the company from going under four years ago. To add insult to injury, his younger sister Kim has signed him up to be a part of the Rhodonite’s Society Annual Masquerade Bachelor Auction. That's right, Alex has

This book surprised me by how much I enjoyed it. I picked it up expecting something easy and enjoyable, with an alpha boss billionaire and a feisty woman confounding his expectations – and I got that – but I also found it surprisingly funny.

Morgan is brilliant – I loved her snarky sense of humour. On the surface she might be a shallow socialite, but she’s smart, competent and knows how to work hard. Her stepfather might have dismissed her involvement with her favourite charity as nothing importa

The opening paragraph of a book always kind of sets the pace for the rest of the book. The opening paragraph for this one? Dude. I was rolling. Absolutely hilarious. I knew right away that this book and I were going to be good friends.

The main character is Morgan and she's this foul-mouthed, sassy little thing that I totally connected with. She's a kindred spirit. I like the leading ladies that have a sailor's vocabulary because I don't always talk like a lady and it's good to know that there a

I hope the author takes advantage of the feedback I left on NetGalley. The bones to this story were AMAZING. Some tweaking is required before it comes close though. Still a cute story, but it fell short of GREAT.
Fresh off a heartbreak and on an anti-men tirade after her fiancé leaves her for her step-sister, the bachelor auction that has snared women their millionaires in Naima Simone’s world is about to work its own magic on Morgan Lett.

And as it typically goes, it always gets worse before it gets better, just like the screwed-up version of the fairy tale that’s given at the very start of the book. Morgan wins a man at an auction, but first impressions have dictated that he merely sees her as gold digg

Morgan Lett should have known better when she began bidding on one of the bachelors up for auction at a Charity event she was attending. But it’s the only way she can prove to everyone that she’s over the fact her ex left her for her stepsister. However, when it turns out the bachelor she won is a judgmental jerk and her soon-to-be boss, Morgan does her best to shrug off her latest drama. Except when one of the things that matters most to her is under

A Millionaire at Midnight drew me in right from the very beginning. It kept me turning the pages and reading continuously, keeping me invested in the outcome. I’ve always enjoyed reading romance novels with fake marriages or forced circumstances.

Although the marriage is a fake one, Morgan and Alex soon find themselves drawn to one another. Their relationship heats up and soon they start to believe the façade of marriage is real. Morgan and Alex go through many struggles and disagreements before

If you're looking for a sexy, fun read A Millionaire at Midnight is the perfect book for you. It is filled with witty and driven characters who share a passionate love story. It's an awesome book.

Right from the first few chapters, Alex and Morgan capture your attention. She's confident and hilarious. He's jaded and desperate. They're both in situations beyond their control and feeling trapped in their options. So even though you can easily predict how their story is going to turn out, you're sti
