Usually, I am not a reader of YA books. However, I love the way Danann writes and have read every other book she has written so I decided to give this one a try. I am ecstatic that I did. The premise of the book that the gods are in control and playing games because they are bored was too delicious to pass up. This is the first story is the first in this series and oh my gosh what a first book. This is a story of a young adult however I really enjoyed this story as an adult. I think the main character stole the show. I can't wait to see what happen in the next story.

Such a different take for Victoria. Refreshing & delightful! Took me back to when I was in High school. Made me remember the good parts of school. I really enjoyed this book. I am getting a few copies of the paperback. 1 for me to keep & a few to give to my Granddaughter and some other teens I know love to read. If you are a Victoria fan you will love this book. If you read YA Romance you will love this book. The interaction in this book is great. Can not wait for The Knight. From a Forever Fan.

I've never been a big YA fan but this book just changed my mind! I figured since Victoria wrote it I'd give it a try and I absolutely loved it! It's unlike any story I've read before (which is something Victoria is good at doing!), and that is a huge bonus. Highly recommended for adults and teens!

I am not ususally a YA reader however, I love the way Danann writes and have read every book she has written so I knew I had to give this one a try. Oh how glad I am that I did. This is the first book in a new series an what a great way to start. This story takes place in High School and there were some moments that made me think back so many years ago...I really enjoyed this Novella and look forward to the next book in this series. Victoria Danann does a fantastic job of weaving words together

Cannot believe how she continues to do it. Loved this story, I didn't even mind that it was a YA book. Love the fact that Victoria is moving into a new category. This series took me back to my high school days. It brought up good and bad memories. It gave me a refreshing taste of teenage minds. Lots of twists and turns and really interesting characters. Overall a very enjoyable series for YA and Adults all together. Definitely will recommend to my teenage daughters!!

Victoria Danann has entered the YA world and she does it brilliantly. She truly captures the voice of a teenager and the stress of high school. This is the start of a fascinating series.

i think we all dreaded going to school the first time but to start in an entirely different school where no one knows you would be a really daunting situation, im really pleased that Ever met with gaga she seams to be an open minded person and after what Ever shares with her and theres no freaking out, one would say more intrigued by this situation and eager to learn more about her abilities.

Most treacherous environment indeed! High school takes on a whole new level and angst. Absolutely love this story premise and I'd love to think this explains my own high school experience.
