Aunt Ursula's Atlas is a collection of eleven brand-new fairy tales. Like classic fairy tales, these are all set in times past and involve ancient, magical creatures such as dragons, unicorns, and dryads. Some stories such as "The Donkey and the Unicorn" and "The Raggedy Old Woman" have the lyricism and read-aloud qualities of many of Grimm's fairy tales or even Mother Goose, while stories such as "The Dragon King" and "The Dragon's Ghost" read more like modern fantasy stories with a fairy tale ...more
