If you are planning to move to Alaska (like me), buy your own remote property (like me), and build your own cabin (like me)...then this book covers EVERYTHING you need to know about cabin building. This book has helped me notice all of the short cuts and errors people make when building cabins. It has also shown how those errors will cause negative results in the future.
I've ordered quite a few cabin building books and this has been the best by far.

A clear and straightforward book that tells you how to do just as the title says. I read many similar books, but used this one to build a 16x20 log cabin from scratch.
