This pocket-sized guidebook describes 100 species of wildflower commonly found in the Rockies, classified according to elevation and topography to assist in identification. It is easy to flip through and small enough to carry.
My sister's book. I adore it - it's small and beautiful, a perfect companion for a Rocky Mountain hike, or afterwards, with a cup of tea. The paintings (by Dana) are lovely and precise, the text full of odd stories about the flowers.
