Finding Love is my own book, so obviously I am partial to it. But here are some of the many reasons why this story makes me happy:
Edward and Meg are a match made in heaven. These two might not be the likeliest couple in the world, but once they meet, they fit together like puzzle pieces. I’ve always been a fan of mismatched couples that ignite like fireworks once they get to know each other, and this pair is no exception.
One of my favorite parts of this story is the banter between all the characters. Edward and Meg are magic together, but once the rest of the Hughes family gets involved, I can’t get enough of their hysterical repartee. So much so, that I went on to write another novella and two short stories about these people. What can I say – they’re memorable!
At the end of the day, we can’t place the blame for Edward and Meg’s separation on either of their shoulders, but that doesn’t mean they have an easy time finding their happily-ever-after. In fact, both of them have to summon up a fair share of forgiveness and faith in each other to get where they are going. Along the way, they give you all the feels while you root for them to succeed.
Finally, I love how Edward and Meg light each other up, and not just physically. These two characters really make each other glow, and when they finally get rewarded with the happy ending they deserve, you’re going to want to cheer out loud.
