Lost & Found #2

Finding Love

Rate this book
A year ago, he gave her his heart. Now he wants it back.

Meg never expected to find the love of her life sitting in a coffee shop. It wasn’t like life was good right then, and she knew she wasn’t any great catch. But handsome Edward, with his sexy British accent and irresistible kisses, was very persuasive. Meg handed over her heart without much resistance and expected it to be for keeps. When Edward suddenly disappears, though, she is forced to confront her deepest fears. Has she been a fool?

Months later his brothers appear, begging for Meg’s help and telling a story that is almost impossible to believe. Caught between the love she once shared with Edward and the demands of his new, agonizingly-different persona, Meg is faced with a choice. His family is counting on her to get through to him, but only she can decide whether to stick it out, despite the uncertain outcome—or cut her losses and move on.

Can Meg break through Edward’s barriers, and remind him of all that they’ve lost? Or will he refuse her help, and force her to live a life without him?

Finding Love, the steamy second title in Kristen Casey’s Second Chances series, is not to be missed! If you adore a charming British hero who delivers all the feels, a cast of side characters so delightful they inspired their own stories, and a feel-good, love-conquers-all ending, then this contemporary romance is for you! Read it today!

About the Series:
Meet the Flynn and O’Connell sisters: four women who just need one more chance to get things right… and fall in love with the four men who are only too happy to hand it to them. Overall this was a good book. I liked the chemistry between Meg and Edward. It was also nice that he found a woman who wasn't after his money or title. It just sucked after the accident that he couldn't remember anything and he almost ruined things completely. Thankfully it all worked out in the end.

Finding Love is my own book, so obviously I am partial to it. But here are some of the many reasons why this story makes me happy:
Edward and Meg are a match made in heaven. These two might not be the likeliest couple in the world, but once they meet, they fit together like puzzle pieces. I’ve always been a fan of mismatched couples that ignite like fireworks once they get to know each other, and this pair is no exception.

One of my favorite parts of this story is the banter between all the characters. Edward and Meg are magic together, but once the rest of the Hughes family gets involved, I can’t get enough of their hysterical repartee. So much so, that I went on to write another novella and two short stories about these people. What can I say – they’re memorable!

At the end of the day, we can’t place the blame for Edward and Meg’s separation on either of their shoulders, but that doesn’t mean they have an easy time finding their happily-ever-after. In fact, both of them have to summon up a fair share of forgiveness and faith in each other to get where they are going. Along the way, they give you all the feels while you root for them to succeed.

Finally, I love how Edward and Meg light each other up, and not just physically. These two characters really make each other glow, and when they finally get rewarded with the happy ending they deserve, you’re going to want to cheer out loud.

There you go! Read on, and enjoy Meg and Edward’s story.

Edward Hughes and Meg Flynn noticed each other for weeks in a local Boston coffee shop before he finally worked up the courage to introduce himself. They dated and fell in love quickly and she doesn’t care that he’s a viscount and heir to an earldom and has money. They only have a few months together as he had to go back to England for a conference with his father. When Meg doesn’t hear from him for months, she thinks he’s broken up with her until she reads that he was in a car accident with his father and thinks he died. Edward hit his head in the accident and lost his memories of the last six months including his time with Meg. He turned in a jerk, angry at everything. His brothers set him up with Meg and tell him they were seriously dating, but he keeps thinking there was another woman he was going to propose to. I didn’t like how he treated Meg during that time. He does redeem himself in the end, but only her love for the man he was before would make her put up with that. His brothers were a riot and I would love to read about their romances in future books.

I thoroughly enjoyed this second novel by Kristen Casey and was sucked into the story immediately! The plot was well developed and I truly wanted Edward and Meg to wind up together. Their chemistry really sparked and they were so natural together. All the characters were well developed and likeable. I loved the relationships within the Hughes family. All four brothers had such distinctive personalities and I adored the family dynamics! Casey writes dialogue very well and in such a realistic fashion. I particularly liked the interplay between the brothers - so much so, that I wish I knew this family! I heard there will be a novella and short stories from the characters in this book...I hope they're about the other brothers!

Meg has not seen Edward in months when his brother comes to her with a story. Edward was the man she wanted to be the one but now that she has met him again she has to do some soul searching. Edward treats her as if she means nothing to him. Edward had been in an accident and lost some of his memory. Will he remember in time or will he lose Meg for good this time, this was what I wanted answers to. This book kept me turning pages a well written story that held my interest throughout. A captivating, heartwarming, love story filled with drama, heartache, tears, happiness, and love. Kristen Casey has created a great well written story about a couple torn apart by a horrible accident with terrible consequences. The characters were wonderful and were so relatable. Finding Love was a fantastic story of being given second chances at love and being reunited with the only love of your life. I absolutely loved this book and these characters.

Finding Love is a beautiful story focused on love and a second chance.
It is the type of story that clutches you at once and doesn't release you until you get to the end - then you find yourself pining over the fact that the book has ended.
I loved how the relationship unfolded so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways they never expected.
