Fans of Tiffany Reisz’s Original Sinner series should not miss this free winter novella. It takes readers deeper into Kingsley and Søren’s relationship and has a few secret reveals that were extremely eye opening.

"We have as many secrets from each other as there are trees in that forest. No wonder we all keep getting lost.”

Søren has Kingsley escorted to a cabin retreat deep in the woods of Maine as a birthday gift. The two reflect back on their relationship and

Søren had an unfinished business. In order to make his own confession, he took Kingsley Edge to a remote winter cabin. There, Søren opened up about a secret he has been keeping and how it changed the course of their relationship.

As much as I love Nora, Søren and Kingsley has always been my favorite couple in The Original Sinners series. This novella is all about them and became my favorite novella in the

Honestly, when I think I can't love them more, this happens. God, their love is brutal and raw and so very real. Past and present, a gift of truth and life. If you love Søren and Kinglsey, you will LOVE this story, just makes my heart a little bigger for the love I feel for them.

Dear Tiffany Reisz-

Instead of a normal review I want to write a thank you letter. I just now read The Scent of Winter and it was spectacular. I am a TOS fan and have LOVED every book in the series. I adore your characters and they truly are unforgettable. The fact that you write a novella for all your fans every Christmas is also extraordinary.

I LOVED The Scent of Winter novella. Søren and Kingsley together, raw, in the woods, alone and honest.........BRILLIANT and AMAZING. From the very first

Set in a remote cabin in Maine, Kingsley Edge is summoned by Søren to celebrate his birthday. While Kingsley slowly warms up to the idea of this adventure, the temperature quickly rises once Søren and Kingsley are alone. During this weekend of seclusion, they reminisce about the past and Søren makes a confession to Kingsley that reveals the depth and complexity of their emotions and long standing commitment.

“The only thing even remotely like submitting to Søren was a walk in a s

There is no other happiness for me on this Christmas beside this novella. It is from Tiffany Reisz, ffs. A special story before The Queen (8th/final book), about how Kingsley spend his Christmas in somewhere unknown. No, Kingsley has been 'relocated' (according to Juliette) because he needs it. Turning into fifty also a father, Kingsley hasn't been himself lately.

“There were four times in my life I felt utterly certain God was real and He was pointing His finger into my life, telling me what path to take. The day I met you. The day I joined the Jesuits. The day I met Eleanor. The night I fathered Fionn. All four of those moments fill me with the deepest peace and the most incredible joy when I think of them. Fionn especially, since I know what joy he’s given Grace and Zachary.”

I was very thrilled to have the opportunity to get back with Søren & Kingsley

Better than I remembered!

I chose to reread The Scent of Winter in an attempt to catch up with the GR reading challenge, but it soon became crystal clear a re-read was long overdue. I had forgotten so much from the story, and that was unacceptable.

Two winter stories with Kingsley and Søren, one with them as teenagers, the other when they're fifty-year-olds. Reading about the two of them was a delicious treat, as always. Bittersweet, as always. It's hard to say which I liked better

Now it feels like Christmas. I look forward to these Christmas shorts almost as much as the full novels.

The Scent of Winter might be my favorite though since mon roi is his beautiful masochistic self in this one to the only man he’s ever loved, Søren.

“I love the scent of winter enough to suffer the cold for it.”

No one takes pain like mon roi (except maybe Michael) and the way Søren treats him, the things he says to him, the way King responds to it… makes my chest ache.

He’d hoped Søren

I will never get enough of this series and am so thankful that Ms. Reisz continues to grace us with these bonus stories.

The Scent of Winter brings us a short, but oh-so deep, story of Kingsley spending Christmas with Soren, isolated. As we venture through the story we are brought back to the past, where two boys love brutally, where kingsley makes a vow - to the present, where Soren recreates that night and proves Kingsley right.

There is a particular scene in this short that features as hawk.

So. Freaking. Good.

What would Christmas be without my favorite sadist Priest?

Any chance to get time with Kingsley and Soren is cherished. I love this series, the cast, the plot. Everything Original Sinners.

Thank you for gifting your newsletter readers this novella, Mistress Tiffany. Bravo and Merry Christmas!

Absolutely stunning. Love this addition to an amazing series ♥️

My favorite quote:
"And just like that it was Christmas. No gifts. No music. No crèche. Only lights. That’s all it took. The push of a button. It shouldn’t have been that simple, but it was. A little more light where before there was darkness. A little more beauty where before there was emptiness. All the bad things that were there before were still there, but at least there was one more small good thing in the world."

“But baby, it’s cold outside,” Kingsley said.
Søren glared at him, a glare like the fire of a thousand suns.
“It’s a song,” Kingsley said hastily. “I wasn’t calling you ‘Baby.’ I would never do that.”
“No, you wouldn’t.”
“I’m going to walk now.”
“Yes, you are.”

So, this is a novella that sold me on Søren and King's relationship. And also made me fell in love wi

Once again, Tiffany Reisz proves herself to be in a league of her own. As both an avid reader and writer of romance, I truly appreciate the care with which she chooses her words and then strings them together to create magic.
At the time, Kingsley was certain he would never understand how words as cruel as those, how vicious and possessive and cold, could warm him like a bonfire and heal his wounds like a magic elixir from a fairy tale.
So, obviously you can't just jump into this nov

Thank you Tiffany Reisz, best Christmas present ever! ❤

And the only way you’re allowed to die is if I choose to kill you with my own hands. More Søren and Kingsley, together. Yay! This was a fabulous Christmas extra that Tiffany gave us, but left me wanting more.

Kingsley is turning fifty and Søren, fifty-one. What better way to spend their time together than together. Kingsley would have preferred it somewhere else besides the middle of nowhere, in Maine, in the woods. The cabin Søren has him delivered to has no electricity, but when Søren appears looking like the cover model for Rugged Danish Male Monthly how can he complain t

"Stop talking,” Søren said, “or I will cut your tongue out, put a metal hook through it, and hang it on the Christmas tree as our one and only ornament.”

Our favourite Catholic priest and French whore do Christmas (and each other, ahem), it is as delightful as we Original Sinners fans have come to expect.

Perfect for Tiffany Reisz fans...and fans of Kingsley and Soren.

Loved this little tryst between Kingsley and Soren. I think that what attracts me to the series is that with each new book or novella, I learn something new about my favorite characters in The Original Sinners world. Each new book, novella, or short story fills in the gaps and throws in some breadcrumbs for something else. This is what keeps me reading.

Happy birthday, Soren.

Novella is available for free (for now) on Smashwords.

My love for Kingsley is not even a question. My love for Søren is undeniable.

When King is with Søren, he's uncut, uncensored. Well that's King all the time but he's most vulnerable in the arms of the man he loves. When Tiffany gives you a scene as the one in the forest, and both of them bearing their feelings out like that, you can't help but to fall deeper in love with them and their time together. A few tears may have been shed.

***sigh*** I could read about Soren & Kingsley forever, what a treat Tiffany gave us and for FREE. A wonderful glimpse into my favorite lovers. I also loved how she tied in the recent novella, The Confessions. Her ability to use the existing timeline while still adding more layers showcases her immense talent.

Book Review: 5 Million Stars

It’s so hard for me to put words to the love I have for Kingsley, Søren, Nora, Griffin, Michael, Juliet, and all the sinners created by Tiffany Reisz. I’ve loved all the books of the series, the full length novels, the novellas and the free stories and I loved how the series found its peak in #TheQUEEN, but this novella is something else. It’s like the missing part of the series, it’s like the missing part in Søren and King’s story, it’s like what I needed t

What is the best thing about Christmas?

Is it the repetition of Christmas songs with Mariah Carey warbling, boobs out?

Is it the man in the red suit?

Is it the scene, stained in a glass-window's hue, a baby in an oxs' stall? The maker of the stars and sea. Become a child on earth for me?

All of that except the boobage, I could lose that.

But the thing that makes Christmas for me, is a new short story about the Sinners. Tiffany gives freely every year. A gift to the faithful. All you need to do is to

A treat for readers who adore and miss Søren. There is only one man a story titled The Scent of Winter would feature, and I was delighted to see it included both Søren and Kingsley.

Mon Roi is at his best yet again. Sincere, vulnerable and just challenging enough in Søren’s presence to make for a feisty reunion. Their relationships are as simple as they are complex and therefore their time together is sanctioned by those that matter. Together they are a pure indulgence, which is saying something

"It happens to me sometimes. Something comes on me that's more animal than human. I wish there was a word for it. The only word that comes close is 'bloodlust.' I'd felt it that night in the woods, the first time with you."
"When you chased me and ran me down."
"I wasn't chasing you, Kingsley. I was hunting you."

This may seem sacrilegious to other Original Sinners fans, but I've never been a huge fan of Kingsley. I don't hate him, but I just don't like him as much as the other two members
