Friends-to-Lovers with a Twist

Although it can veers quite often into the tropism, this shorty novella retains a cuteness throughout, as two friends confront (finally) their long-withheld feelings for one another. Once the steamy scenes start, hold on tight for the ride, because these characters are not playing around

Loved the book

Loved how Doris shows with such vivid detail that a friendship can blossom into so much more. And as a submissive female myself... Oh... The joy that Emma finds and the wonderful HEA way that the book ends...:) love it!

There's always something about friends-to-lovers stories that is endearing to a reader. Emma and Josh have known each other for twenty years and have been best of friends. When Emma's ex does the dirty, Josh is the one who comes to her rescue and starts sharing the flat with her so she doesn't get into financial trouble.

Of course living together brings complications and they find themselves falling for each other. But what's going to happen when they cross the line? And what if they don't gel to

After a heartbreaking end to her last relationship Emma’s first call is to her best friend Josh. He immediately rushes to her and despite everything moves in to help her out.

Emma has loved him for most of the twenty years she’s known him, but she knows she is the last thing he wants, until she catches him in a precarious situation one morning on her way to work.

This is Josh’s time to learn if Emma feels the same way he does and for him to tell her exactly who and what he likes to do.

Glutton for punishment would be a good description for Doris... at least that's what she hears on an almost daily basis when people find out that she has a brood of nine children, ranging from adult to toddler and lives happily in a far too small house, cluttered with children, pets, dust bunnies, and one very understanding and supportive husband. Domestic goddess she is not.
