The book is about the adventurous experiences of mountaineering guide, Vern Tejas. The book is divided into subsections that alternate between third party narrative and transcriptions of interviews with Vern. The alternating layout is appealing in theory, but the bulk of the transcriptions do not seamlessly translate into fluid written form.
