Almost 20 years later and I’m still thinking about this book! I read it as a teenager who also was obsessed with Americas Next Top Model when it first launched and the movie Gia with Angelina Jolie so i read this book as part of my “modeling” and fashion research and it was very impressive. It delves into the life of a white top model then how the predators get to young kids, very eye opening.

This was a pretty good book! Although a bit disorienting initially because the author throws you into an already occurring scene, the first chapter demands your attention. The rest of the book is full of interesting characters and crazy interactions, making you anxious to know the fate of each one. My main critique would be the characters come off a bit flat. They haven't been fully developed but not to such a point that you wouldn't want to keep reading or know the end of the novel. My love of the modeling world acquired from watching ANTM also probably aided in my enjoyment of this book.
