I bought this book 15 years ago, when I was still learning English at an intermediate level, and this book was such a nice self-learner. The pages were short with a text introducing the new vocab. and each has a special topic, from fashion to astronomy. You will learn many new words from it and the same time you don't feel your head is bursting with new lexicon in comparison to other vocabulary books. This book was my best friend in my journey to learn English and I should thank the author to create such a consider nice book. It's now out of print but I still copy the pages for my students and recommend it to them.
