Tips and ideas from freshers week to final exams. Whether your passion is society life, drinking shots, or studying, your university experience will hold both new adventures and fresh challenges. This guide is packed with tips to help you survive and thrive at uni, from pulling an all-nighter in the library to an all-nighter at the club.
Nothing about this guide for university is AWFUL, but I definitely wouldn't spend money on it, as you can find almost all of this advice for free online.
So um clearly My Dad saw me struggling at Uni... Jk😭 He brought me this for Christmas, and I fancied a quick read but ended up finishing it the same day, lol.
This book isn't bad it's just meh. I suppose it does make a good pocket guide, but most of the things I already knew about. There were some quite handy life hacks included, though. As well as recipes, I'm excited to try.
I liked the tone of the Author, it wasn't patronising, which can come across in some books. I liked the easy layout/format, which made it easy to read. Although there wasn't any stimulation for visual imagery. Or any colour, just black and white, which I think would've improved the book. I rated it 3☆ because there was some genuinely good advice included, just not as visually pleasing as I'd hoped.
What I will say, though, on a positive note, is there were a few drinking games included, which I've never heard of before! Will be interesting to try these out, lol.
