Kash Kamdar is the king of a peaceful but powerful island nation. As Loa Mali’s sovereign, he is always in control, the final authority. Dayita Samar comes from one of Loa Mali’s most respected families. The Cambridge-educated scientist has dedicated her life to her country’s future. But under her staid and calm exterior, Day hides a few sexy secrets of her own. She is willing to marry her king, but also agrees that they can circumvent the law. Just because they’re married doesn’t mean they have to change their lives. It certainly doesn’t mean they have to fall in love.

After one wild weekend in Dallas, Kash discovers his bride-to-be is more than she seems. Engulfed in a changing world, Kash finds exciting new possibilities for himself. Could Day help him find respite from the crushing responsibility he’s carried all his life? This fairy tale could have a happy ending, if only they can escape Kash’s past…

descriptionThis is the standard 1001 Nights cover. I like it. Good representation of the hero/heroine. Good composition. Great use of graphics and typography.description

descriptionSo I pretty much went into this one expecting not to like it very much. If I had known before I requested the ARC that the heroine was going to be a , I wouldn't have bothered with it. On top of that, I am not a big fan of an author taking an uber manwhore secondary character and trying to make him into a hero. And that is basically ALL Kash has been throughout the series. He is best known for being the "walking venereal disease" and not much else.

So you can imagine how delighted I am to say that I actually DID enjoy this one (for the most part). Oh, I STILL think Kash would have been best left as a side character, and there were WAY too many mentions of his manwhore past. Including an opening scene where he awakes in bed having spent the night with three women (gag). But Miz Blake sucked me into the story, and I found myself turning the pages and enjoying the journey these two were embarking on.

description

I enjoyed Day immensely. I found the type of she was pleasing. She wasn't cold or harsh. I think that is why that aspect worked for me when in other books I find it a turnoff. She was also a strong and intelligent heroine. Although I did question why someone with her intelligence would EVER want to tie herself to a walking venereal disease...but whatevs.

As is the case with nearly every book Miz Blake writes I enjoyed seeing some of the other couples from the M&M universe. After so many books in this series, a lot of these characters feel like family. The mystery part was OK. I figured out who the baddie was from the minute the person was introduced, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment at all. There were also some parts that made me cry, and the sex scenes were hot. So, all in all, I went in not expecting much and came out pleasantly surprised. Two thumbs up from yours truly.description

I got a taste for Lexi Blake's writing with For His Eyes Only and couldn't pass up the opportunity to read from her again. ARRANGED was an absolute pleasure to devour. It's about the arranged marriage between Loa Mali's King Kash and his one-time sweetheart, Day. For the past five years Kash has been living the life of an infamous playboy. Paparazzi, threesomes, hookers, and sex tapes were his new norm. Until his sovereignty was threatened and he was forced to wed the straight-laced Day. He soon discovered that his new wife was much more than she seemed.

I really liked the way the BDSM world was worked into this story. I especially appreciated how the author explained and illustrated that being a submissive wasn't a form of weakness and that there weren't set gender rules for it. I think it was handled with care and I love the sweet twist it gave to this story. The plot and the characters were interesting and entertaining and I would recommend this read to anyone who enjoys some suspense with their erotica.

3* i got you STARS!

As much as I want to love this, I just can't. Kash Kamdar is one of the most anticipated male in the M&M series. He's well-known as a playboy king from Loa Mali from Ian's book (Love & Let Die). At first, I didn't really care about him but lately he was mentioned many times until his own book. I was so happy with the premise of Kash's story but in the end, it's far from what I've imagined.

description

Once upon a time, Kash was no king. He's just a student whose in love with a smart and lovely girl, Dayita Samar. Because of the unfortunate event happened to his family, Kash was forced to back to Loa Mali. Fifteen years later, Kash forced to agree with the arranged marriage by his mother. The future wife is no one else but the ghost from his past, Dayita. Day isn't sure about this 'marriage' morever with Kash's habit around women. She still couldn't forget him after all this time. One night, they shared their memory and agree to start over.
Finally she rose up over him, looking primal and gorgeous. A sea goddess looking to mate with a lowly sailor. She would bless him with her body and he would worship her forever.

Day is easily likable heroine. She's no 'delicate flower' like Kash's harem. She's strong and brilliant woman. When the proportion came from the queen herself, she knows what's on the table. Another side of Day is her kinky life which was I already expected from her attitude.

Age didn't reflect someone's maturity. Fuck yes. I thought Kash was forgivable after their talk and moving on. Well, it didn't last long. Kash was totally confused and lost. He drove people away and the worst is, he hurts Day (with words). Kash acts high and mighty when he found out the real Day.

description

I believe the story was too wasted on Kash & Day without any progress. Almost until the end, he's still in denial. Luckily, Ian didn't shot him but counsel about BDSM. The sex scenes hardly feel sexy at all. It sucks :/ Day was such a promising mistress and she's also realize her mistake. Communication is everything.

Anyway, I survived this book only for two reasons. It's Lexi Blake and no way I will DNF this. Second, I loved Dayita. I didn't know how could she deal with Kash. Because of love, maybe? Well, the plot was predictable with palace intrigue. Also Kash's childhood managed to give me tears, so it isn't that bad. Overall, a vanilla alpha king turns into submissive in the bedroom isn't exactly my forte. But I enjoyed the interaction with McKay-Taggart members for the cameo ;)

His queen. The last fifteen years of his life had been about the world revolving around him, being the ultimate authority figure. But here and now, he realized she could be his sun."

Ever since Kash was first loosely introduced back in Love and Let Die, I've been curious. He never had a solid presence in the M&M series, but when I saw that he'll be getting his own book, I was intrigued. The playboy king in an arranged marriage? Sign me up for that!
I’m the first in a hundred years to be arranged by someone else. I suppose my mother thinks I’m incapable of selecting a proper bride.”

I couldn't wait to see the woman that will bring this womanizer to his knees, and boy did she!

Day and Kash were once friends that could have been something much more, but life had other plans for them. They're two very different people but life has brought them back together in much more interesting circumstance because Day is the woman Kash's mother picked to be his bride and future queen of Loa Mali. While Day has dedicated her life's work to serving the people of Loa Mali, she's also as far from the traditional bride as a woman can get and not just because she refuses to sit back and be the little woman. She's a woman with a core of strength and she's not afraid to say what she wants or even demand it.
I cannot be that queen from long ago who allowed herself to be kidnapped and taken away. The choice will be mine. The choice to be queen. The choice to have you. I will make these choices not because I’m about to be royal, but because I am a woman and that is what I do. I will not play that game with you, love. I won’t give over and then protest that I had the choice taken from me. I will choose and accept the consequences. I wanted to show them who they are getting as their queen, not some gentle flower who will stand by her man and wave, but a woman who will fight for them as I fight for myself. As I would fight for you.”

I have to say, part of the reason I enjoyed this book so much was Day. I loved the way she put Kash in his place and I also loved the way she was his strength and support system. Kush hides a lot of depth behind his easy smile and playboy ways, and also a secret that's so deep even he's afraid to admit it to himself.

This book was very different from any of the others in the series or anything I've read from Lexi to date but it was also a refreshing change of pace. While this particular set up is not my usual go to, I certainly enjoyed it. Day and Kash were great together, even though Kash's insecurities and the way he took them out on Day at times made me want to either throttle or kick him in the nether regions.

While this is #13.5 in the series, you can easily enjoy this as a standalone. However, you'll appreciate all the cameos a lot more if you read the series in order.

Hot, sexy, and steamy!!!! What more can a reader ask for when you want a quick erotic romantic story? Right!! Lexi Blake turns up the heat as she delivers a fast paced and emotional novella in the Arranged. She has readers like me devouring this book so fast because the heroine stole the spotlight in my opinion.

#ArrangedLexiBlake

Dayita Samar was the crowning jewel in Arranged. She kept readers engaged with her sweet and yet strong personality. She didn’t back down with the playboy King as she knew how to keep Kash Kamdar in check. When the Queen informs her son Kash that he is to be in arranged marriage, little did he know that it would be his former shy friend, Day.

Day is no longer that girl Kash remembered fifteen years ago. Instead, she has grown into a beautiful, sexy, intelligent and strong woman. As Kash and Day agreed to the terms of their arranged marriage, Kash will also uncover a new sexual side in Day. As these two explore their sexual compatibility, will they also find themselves falling in love as well?

photo d859cd86e87e8ec82f7207b6d22c6b_zpsbmyvzexv.gif Let me tell you what I can offer you. I can offer you the touch of my hands on your flesh, skimming every inch of your body. I can offer the heat of my mouth, my lips and tongue exploring you, tasting your essence. I won’t stop quickly because you’re complex. I’ll have to taste you everywhere, nipping and licking and sucking until I know you by heart.”

Lexi Blake is no stranger to sexy, steamy erotic romance that packs a punch and Arranged was simply that. This book had that different vibe from the previous books of the series but I found the story of Kash and Day refreshing. Overall, this book was well written and entertaining. So if you are looking for a quick read to spicen up your day, then this book is definitely for you.

Arranged made for an interesting read.

15 years ago Kash nearly fell in love but the spare then became the heir and is life changed. Fate intervened well actually it was his father but she tried to make it better by arranging a marriage between Dayita and Kash.

Kash, king of his country has been ignoring his responsibilities as king but that is all about to change.

I wasn’t really interested in Kash when I met him in previous books. Yes, he is a manwhore not that it bothered me. I just felt that he was always on the sidelines so much that I’m surprised he even got a book.

I do like the arranged marriage theme so maybe that is why I also requested it.
Dayita clever, strong-willed and a big heart. I really like her as a female lead. She is regal and a true queen in every sense of the word.

This is my first book where there was a role reversal in the D/s and surprisingly enough I really enjoyed it I didn’t think I would if I’m going to be honest. The feelings that they have and the difficulties that they had to overcome made it all the more interesting.

Things got tricky when Day’s preferences were aired and the way they reacted or more the way Kash reacted. I actually understand him where he tries to adjust to his new role without feeling less of a man. But I mean come on what is good for the goose should also be good for the gander.

Lexi Blake delivers an exciting read with fabulous and unique characters and spice to every story that she writes. She knows how to balance out all elements to make a book suck you in right from the start. Royal family themed books aren’t really my thing but I did enjoy this book. I love when we get to see Ian and the rest of the crew but even that didn’t want me to give it more than 3 stars.

This was a really good book. This was book 13.5 in the "Masters and Mercenaries" series. We met the King of Loa Mali Kashmir "Kash" Kamdar a few books back he is the playboy king a manwhore. When his mother Queen Yasmine decides that its time for him to slow down and get married she pick a bride for him Dayita "Day" Samar. Day and Kash went to school together and they spent a lot of time together and on the day that he found out that his father and brother died she kissed him 15 years later he finds that his mother has picked her for his bride the one that got away. Day gave up her dream of being a doctor when her mother got sick and she had to return to the island to take care of her. Day is a strong independent woman who also had a secret turns out Day is a domme and his mother knew it. On there wedding day one of Kash's ex's shows up and tries to get him to leave Day and when he tells her no she tells him about Day whipping and tying up men and Kash doesn't know how to handle it. When someone kills one of the servant's the guys from McKay and Taggart Simon and Jesse take Kash and Day to Dallas and Santcum where people know who Day is and have seen her work. Kash had a hard time submitting to a woman because he always felt that the man had to be strong I wanted to slap him. Ian was his same old self but he was trying to help Kash who thought he was a Dom. This was a really good book it was well written like all of the books in this series. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

4.5 Stars!!

So let me start off by saying I am one of the few who have not read all the books in this series. I actually started reading late in the series (Book #10 was my first) and fell in love with these characters and this whole world. With that being said, if you want to dip your toes into Lexi's Masters and Mercenaries series to see what you are missing out on, this is the perfect book to do so. Yes, there are characters from the series mentioned; however, they do not play an integral part in this book.

Back to the book - Arranged is exactly what it is - an arranged marriage. Kash is being forced to marry someone in order to maintain his crown. He was introduced in a previous book (just a passing secondary character from what I am told) and he's very much the playboy in every aspect. So when is mother forces him to give up his ways, he's none to thrilled. Til he meets his prospective queen, Day.

Day is a friend from him past that one point he could have seen more with. They were unfortunately torn apart during their college years and haven't seen each other in the 15 years since that day. There is a lot that Kash does not know about Day. As they are learning about each other, a lot of it does not surprise Kash in the least, except one thing. She's a domme. And you would think with Kash's past this wouldn't be a problem. But a King can never be seen as weak, even to his Queen.

I love how Lexi has Kash and Day play this out in the book. I won't go into details as to how it'd done, but I love how these two interact and bond. And as with all Masters and Mercenaries books, there is a bit of suspense added to this plot, which makes it al the more entertaining.

This is a very short version of what I have come to love and enjoy with Lexi's Masters and Mercenaries books. She really knows how to wove the suspense in with the romance and it all plays out beautifully. And this book is no exception - it just all plays out much quicker.

As I said at the beginning, if you want to test out the waters, this is the perfect book to do so. And then don't get upset with me when you find yourself drawn to other characters and need to know their stories too. LOL

Looking for a quick and sexy escape from reality? Look no further, because Lexi Blake has the novella for you. ARRANGED is a Masters & Mercenaries novella that had me hooked from the very beginning. I didn't know what to expect, and yet, I wasn't surprised at all with how much I LOVED Kash and Dayita's complicated love story. It's emotional. It's rich. It's complex, despite the page length, and I was a complete goner from the very start.

"Right now you think I'm nothing more than another pretty female body, but you'll learn I'm going to be more."

Oh my! Dayita Samar was my hero in this story. Kash drove me absolutely batty, but Dayita leveled the playing field a bit. ARRANGED is a second-chance chance, friends-to-lovers/friends-to-husband and wife romance. I know it seems complicated, but it's really not. It's SEXY! It's PROVOCATIVE! It's a heart-pounding good time! The Masters & Mercenaries series is and will always be one of my all time favorite series. I know I say this every time, but it bares repeating. This series, these characters, Ms. Blake's writing takes me away to another place and gives me such joy with every single turn of the page. You can't help but to get completely LOST in her words.

"She would bless him with her body and he would worship her forever."

Kash and Dayita's story, although a hard-fought one, is the perfect story to sink your teeth into. It's the perfect romance that will become the driver to a new addiction. If you haven't discovered Ms. Blake's incredible talent, what are you waiting for? Dive in and don't look back!

*ARC*

I always get excited when I know that a new Lexi Blake book is being released, I feel like a kid at a toy store, for me that is the excitement I get when it comes to books. Arranged is the newest addition to the Masters and Mercenaries series and let me just say that this may be a novella but it does not lack in any of the ways we love this series. Now it is a bit different than what we are used to but that different is a good thing, trust me on this.

Kash and Dayita these two are complicated, have depth and have history together. Well sort of have history together. Kash was into Dayita in college but never got to act on those feelings because his life got turned upside down in a heartbeat and had to leave. Both are from the same country but Kash is now the King. He has to marry and Dayita is the bride chosen. An arranged marriage it is. I really felt for both of these characters, the emotional roller coaster we are taken on, the angst and pain that is a part of the story but this is a second chance romance so it needs that drama to make their happiness even more so. This is not a sappy love story; it has layers that take it to a whole new level.

Arranged is a book I can easily recommend and say without a doubt is one damn good read. I think I need to do a series reread now. Lexi Blake congrats on another amazing book!

Every time Kash Kamdar was mentioned in previous books, it was mostly about his notoriety as a playboy and man-whore, so I was not really expecting much going into this. Just some rubbernecking, like at an accident scene and wondering what kind of woman would be foolish enough to commit herself to this man. It was nothing like I expected, sort of a departure from the rest of the series and I was pleasantly surprised. However, like the rest, ARRANGED is sexy with a side helping of emotion that will tug at your heart.

Once upon a time, Kash was the spare to the throne of Loa Mali, free to live his life as he choose and pursue his interests, which led him to college in England and Dayita Samar, a fellow native. But the death of his father and brother meant giving up everything including his budding relationship with Day, to step into a role he was ill-prepared for. Now he's being compelled to marry and his chosen bride is none other than the woman he lost before he even had a chance with.

Day has become accomplished in her own right and is willing to accept marriage to Kash to further her own goals, but there is no reason why they can't enjoy their marriage, even if theirs is not a love match. But Day's secrets are almost too much for Kash to bear, so where does that leave their young marriage and can they salvage anything from this situation?

I probably would not have picked this book to read if I knew all the details, but I'm glad I did not miss it. Day completely stole the show with her strength and intelligence and beauty. Kash was exactly what I expected and more: quite hypocritical and bratty, throwing tantrums when things didn't go his way. Even though his past puts his behavior in context, I wasn't completely wowed by him.

With every book I read, Ms. Blake impresses me because her stories capture the complexity and many facets of human relationships, the reasoning behind choices and how they impact lives, and every bit of that was on display here. Every choice Kash and Day made was relevant to their personal happiness and the country at large, for good or bad, and accepting each other and their needs made them a better team.

The McKay-Taggart team provided some much needed lightness and Big Tag was there to drop some much-needed wisdom, providing some comic relief along the way. For once, I can say that this book works perfectly fine as a stand-alone, but it won't hurt to read the series in order.

Arranged by Lexi Blake is part of her Masters and Mercenaries series. I have only read one of book in this series but I didn't feel as though I was missing anything. I believe each book can be considered a standalone with different couples featured in each book.

Being that this book is a short novella, I don't want to give to much away. The book description is an excellent overview of this story. I think my main issue with this story was with Kash himself. I personally found him to be a difficult character to like. I thought he was a brat and a hypocrite. He redeemed himself a little towards the end, but not enough for me to be a big King Kash fan.

5 Star Review Arranged (Masters & Mercenaries # 13.5) by Lexi Blake

This series is one of my all-time favourites , I loved this book from start to finish. I didn’t want to put it down and was so annoyed when real life conspired to stop me from reading it in one session.

I have always loved the characters that Ms. Blake creates, the way she develops and layers them and her story lines are always amazing,. Kash Kamdar, King of Loa Mali is an intriguing character and one I have been interested in since he was first mentioned in the series.

Dayita Samar, a friend from university, who has secretly been in love with Kash for years was a perfect match for the alpha king. When Kash's mother manipulates him into a marriage of convenience, he is shocked that the bride to be is his old friend Day.

I fell in love with Kash and Day, individually and as a couple. I have always enjoyed the BDSM genre, add in romantic suspense, some life threatening danger and I am hooked.

Ms. Blake allowed the multiple facets of Mistress Day to shine throughout the book. We got to see the tough, totally in controlled Mistress, protective, caring and then we also got to know the vulnerable woman who fell in love with Kash as a young woman and then lost him in the blink of an eye. We also got to see the vulnerability and seriousness of the playboy King and he struggles to find himself as a man and a King.

Their journey is one of self-discovery, desire, mind blowing sex, heartache, miss communication, pain and ultimately love. Not only is the sex scorching but the tender moments between the Mistress and her extremely Alpha submissive just about melted me.

Cannot wait for more in this series.

Now I went into this book blind, as its Lexi Blake and this is in the top 3 of my favorite series ever.....so I knew I would want to read it.....

So color me surprised when Kash turns out to be the submissive and Dayita the Domme.....Now I just recently refused to read a book by another one of my fave authors because of just this......and not reading one of KA's book was HARD!!

But holy hell Batman I should have known Lexi Blake would pull this off. The story did not just focus on that aspect, and she still made Kash as Dominant outside the bedroom as much as possible, Also the scenes where these 2 are intimate are not all in your face. They are well written and its not hard to see Kash as the Sub at all. There was no humiliation or over the top scenes, so even though I dont normally go for books where the male is the Sub, this one worked for me and as usual I enjoyed reading it from start to finish..... Just goes to show why Lexi Blake is the master of her craft..... :)

I loved the way this story started off with a glimpse of Kashmir and Dayita at University just about to take their friendship to another level but Kashmir received some news and needed to return home immediately. Now fast forward fifteen years and Kash is not only King of Loa Mali but he is a MAJOR Playboy whose time has come to settle down, and the Queen Mother has picked the perfect bride for her son to marry in this arranged marriage.

Lexi Blake has done a fantastic job with this series, each book immerses you into the story where you feel as if you are a fly on the wall watching it all unfold and during the intense parts I was at the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next.

Lexi Blake is a favorite of mine, and I love the whole 1001 Dark Nights series. Such a fun idea, to tell numerous compelling and shorter stories to take up an evening.

I really enjoyed this one. the characters were interesting, and I loved that you got to meet Kash as a much younger man, and on a very pivotal day in his life, before the real story began. Day, well, you like her, you like who she is, and you like that she is not afraid to be the person that she is.

There were a couple of elements of this story, and it is what I would call light BDSM that were different, which I will not spoil here, but I enjoyed them as they are not the common direction to take a story like this.

I thought Lexi Blake told quite a complete and well balanced tale, with developed characters, in a short novella, which is not something that is easy to do, and it was done well, despite being set in a fake country...which really doesn't matter in relation to the plot of the story, it just happens to be something that I am never totally positive is necessary.

Do I wish there was more of their story? Yes, but that is part of the challenge of a novella, to tell a complete story in the shorter time...it does often leave you wanting more, but in this case because you like the characters not because you feel you didn't get a complete story.

I recommend this novella.

I really like this book. Kash was always the character. But you saw more of his true personality rather than the Playboy that everyone thought he was. You also see what made him turn into that Playboy in public.

There were times my heart broke for Kash. There were times my heart broke for Day.

The only thing that would have made this book better was more of Ian's antics.

We did get a serious side of Ian and I love the way he explained the difference and dominance and submission to Kash. That was a beautiful explanation summary.

5 sexy, submissive Alpha male stars for ARRANGED!

Kash Kamdar is the king of Loa Mali, used to enjoying life and all it has to give…until his mother forces an arranged marriage on him. His betrothed is nothing like the party girls he's used to, but Dayita Samar has always been the one woman who's been able to get under his skin. Dayita knew years ago that Kash would need a firm hand and strict direction, and her Domme tendencies screamed in happiness. Many years away from each other convinced her that she'd need to come at it slowly and with tenderness, but if he was able to let go and submit, they could have an incredible sex life. But Kash sees his desire to submit as something wrong and perverted…will he ever be able to voice his true desires and live out his version of a perfect life with his queen?

ARRANGED is a novella in the Master and Mercenaries series, and also a stand-alone addition to the innovative and fun 1001 Dark Nights series featuring sensual and erotic stories by a variety of popular authors inspired by the classic The Arabian Nights tale.

I've been looking forward to Kash's story since he's played prominently in many Masters and Mercenaries books, and ARRANGED didn't disappoint! I got the impression in other stories that Kash might be a switch, but he was a straight up sub! I don't read a ton of books featuring Dommes, but I love them when I can get them. Kash and Dayita were incredible together, and how she eased him into a D/s relationship was just delicious as hell. The feel of the book was exotic and sultry, and I adored every second of it (like so many books in the Masters and Mercenaries series). Can't wait for the next stroke of brilliance from Lexi Blake!

Bottom Line: No OM/OW or sharing; condom use; BDSM/kink (D/s, spanking, ); no sexual assault; mild violence and murder. - See more at: http://erotic.theromancereviews.com/v...

Kash and his appearances in the MM world of MT have kept me entertained for a while, so I was thrilled to discover that this novella treat was his story, even though I had doubts about how this rougish manwhore king would ever slow his roll(ing in the hay).

I loved Dayita, loved their story and now having read and held on through all the twists, turns and surprising outcomes, it couldn’t have been more perfectly them.

Story was TOO slow and Kash was so fucking irritating with his, "I am King, I have to be in control." There wasn't a lot of sex scenes either and part of the reason why I read BDSM books is because of the scenes and sexy times. This book did NOT satify my craving with enough sexy times.
Just my opinion.

“She could be his secret. She would never have to know how weak he was, how dark his wants were. He could pretend to indulge her and steal something for himself.”

“If this was what love felt like, Kash didn’t want it. This was a terrible ache in his gut, a pendulum swinging between anger and insane grief.”

Told from dual points of view, Arranged follows the story of Kash and Day. Kash never wanted to be king, but fate had other plans in mind for him. Now as ruler of Loa Mali, Kash is living the life and enjoying the fruits of being king. He is on top of the world until his mother decides that he must marry. His prospective queen is non other than Day. He knew Day before he was king and now she is nothing like the women he is used to. However, Day is good at putting on a facade. Beneath her buttoned up exterior lies an unbelievable and sexy past. When Kash learns of Day’s previous indiscretions, will he jump at the all the new possibilities or will he ruin everything he never knew he wanted? You’ll just have to pick up Arranged and find out for yourself.

Overall, I really enjoyed Arranged. I thought the story-line was refreshing and unique. I loved the characters and couldn’t help but be intrigued by them. This book covers a lot of themes from royal duties and honor to an unexpected BDSM twist. I will say that the BDSM themes in this particular book were a bit out of the box for me. That being said, I thought they were done really well and didn’t take me too far out of my comfort zone.

Arranged is a fast paced and sexy read. It has just the right mix of secrets, lies, unexpected truths and some super sexy good times. This is a great novella to spend the afternoon getting wrapped up in. Overall, a very enjoyable read.

Title: Arranged
Author: Lexi Blake

5 amazing stars

Arranged was a completely different from all the other Master and Mercenary series from Lexi Blake. Taking the friends to lovers aspect and delving deeper in it as we meet Kash, a prince, and Dayita, the woman that is to marry him and make him realize that he can't skirt his responsibilities any longer. I don't think i was fully prepared for the many twists that this novella took, that being completely different from the other books i've read from Lexi Blake in this series, which i can't and won't be complaining about because the renowned playboy is finally meeting his match in his childhood friend in so many ways that you can't help but keep reading in curiosity.

4 breath taking dreams

Compared to many of the previous novels, Arranged was a bit more 'tamed' concentrating more on the relationship rather than the scenes that we've often come to read throughout not only Lexi Blake's novels, but those part of the 1001 Dark nights series. I was captivated by this story, by the characters that i hadn't had a chance to really get to know before and even to get a glimpse of those that i had the chance to get to know and fall in love with from the previous instalments. I loved how Lexi Blake made these two (Kash and Dayita) come to life and made them breathe in ways i never could have expected. I can't wait to find out what Lexi Blake will be doing with her series in the future and will be looking forward to finding out.

I Love Lexi Blake books , maybe I am bias ( Iam not ) but I feel like she can do no wrong in her stories. I have loved ever single story by her that I have read and she is now one of my favorite authors , so when I got the chance to read Arranged I was so happy ! and I dived into this book as soon as I could and I absolutely loved it!

In this book we follow Kash and Dayita and these two were friends and ard the time it seemed like there friendship was moving towards being a romance , however after some tragic events that caused Kash to have to take one a roll that he did not want to fill, being a king they grew apart, years later Kash's mother has come up with a plot to force her son to get married and Guess who the fiance is ? Dayita,so this is really where things pick up in this book . I loved Kash and Dayita together in the beginning they seemed to fine with having a marriage of convenience however when they both realize there feelings toward each other never disappeared , things change between them , however there is twist and Kash find out something about Dayita that he did not see coming . I loved that Lexi Blake did with that reveal because it really caused Kash to dig deeper within him self and figure out who is really is and what he really likes. I am going to be honest there were moments in this book where I was honestly worried thinking how is this going to work out because I was so invested to this couple and I needed to see them have there happily ever after , and honestly all my worrying was in vain because while Lexi Blake makes her readers sweat and pace nervously lol , we always get a happy ending and I felt like theirs was perfect for them .The romance was sexy , swoon worthy and wickedly delicious.

Besides the romance there were so many other things going on and I loved that , Lexi Blake kept me on my toes constantly wondering what was going to happen next and who was behind all of the things that were happening . I didn't guess who it was , it just creeped up on me lol and reminded me just how far some people will go to protect what they see in there eyes as tradition . I loved how we got to see Kash and his mom relationship change for the better . I love that by the end of this book we get to see him comfortable to step into his role and battle his demon and I LOVED that we got to see other characters from the Masters and Mercenaries series , I swear I never get tired of hearing anything Big Tag says , that man is just in leagues of his own lol . Arranged was a sexy , addicting , heartwarming story , filled with twist and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat . I loved this story so much and I cannot wait to my hands on Lexi Blake's next book !!. This has to be one of my favorite novellas of this year. I highly recommend getting it as soon as you can.

Holy Hell do I have a new favorite Mistress/heroine/Professor Queen to add to my list of outstanding female characters. Dayita Samar is one heck of a woman and the complexity of her character is due to the control and dominance she yields as well as her ability to know her worth and demand an equal place in the eyes of men who try to control her…who try to bring her to her knees in a servile role – one that she adamantly refuses to play no matter the rank or status of those who look to demean her.

Everything about Day worked for me! She reads people so well and knows exactly what Kash needs, even if he’s unwilling to admit to it. Day gives a voice to the women of her country, and she empowers them to speak for themselves, using both her intelligence and her stellar personality to evoke change in a kingdom that is very set in its ways when it comes to the monarchy and its role with the people. It doesn’t matter that she’s a commoner…it doesn’t matter that she’s into dominatrix…what matters is that she’s the woman who can save Kash from himself…the woman who can give him stability and force him to accept who he is and what he needs to deal with the pressure of his duties as King.

Kashmir Kamdar definitely has a playboy reputation and a past filled with weak women who have graced his bed but nothing else. Because Kash shares a history with Day, the arranged marriage his mother has forced on him doesn’t sound quite as bad as it did before he knew, but 15 years is a long separation and the man and woman Kash and Day are now is nothing like they were at Oxford, and due to Kash’s dalliances for the past five years, it’s difficult to say whether this forced relationship will be what turns Kash’s life and role in his kingdom around or if it sends him spiraling even further because a King is not supposed to want/need to submit to anyone, let alone a woman when he has a country to command.

Despite the fact that Kash and Dayita's story is a novella, the points of contention that they must confront are numerous and complex. Kash has turned into a ruler who does not hold much creditability with his people and because of his insecurities and his self-imposed failures, he’s unable to see with clarity what Day is offering him as her lowly servant in their bedroom but nowhere else. And, the struggle to get Kash to see his desires as anything but perverse is not something that will happen quickly because he’s ingrained who he’s supposed to be according to his deceased father’s dictates and he can’t get passed who he should be even if it’s not exactly who he is or who he wants to be.

Arranged is a fantastic addition to Lexi Blake’s Masters and Mercenaries series, and it’s a story with the perfect mix of conflict, a bit of suspense, steamy submission, and a badass heroine who knows exactly how to please her King!

Not having read the other books in the Masters and Mercenaries series, I wasn't familiar with the previous books, but I have read a couple books by Lexi Blake and she didn't disappoint at all. From the eye catching to the intriguing synopsis, Arranged delivers a story filled with steamy scenes and a second chance at love that will leave you wanting for more.

At the beginning of the story we get to meet Kask Kamdar and Dayita Samar two university students who are just trying to live normal lives. They both are into science and want to make a better world, but Kash's future completely changes when he gets news that he is about to be king. His future never involved being a king before, and just when he was getting the courage to ask Dayita on a date things suddenly changed. After living as a playboy, Kash has now take control of his country and that also includes finding a bride. It is through a ancient law that his own mother sets him up into an arranged marriage that he can't brake, but he wasn't expecting for his future bride to be Dayita. Now he has to find a way to make her see that he has changed or lose her forever.

Coming from a respected family hasn't always being in Dayita's favor, as someone who is in charge of the country's education system she has to work extra hard to make the people in charge see that kids deserve equal opportunities. Yet, that all comes stops the minute she is summoned to meet with the queen about her future marriage to Kash. Dayita knows that it has been years since she has seen or heard from him, but marriage isn't what she is afraid of. What she truly is afraid of is of what Kash is going to do when he discovers her secret. It will take one wild night for them to discover each other's secrets and see if they truly want to be with each other after that.

I very much enjoyed the over concept of the story, the characters are well thought out and even though they are completely polar opposites, they somehow manage to connect quiet well. Dayita is such a strong female character in the book that somehow overshadowed Kash from time to time. On the other hand, Kash is the typical playboy who also happens to hold secrets that could ultimately ruin his reputation as king. For being a novella, the story kept me intrigued and entertained until the very end. I don't think I've read a story where the female has so much power over the guy. There were times when I felt unsure about Dayita, and her personality, but it all works out in the end. I would recommend picking it up if you're looking for a short and steamy read. ;)

Arranged was adorable! Loved this book from start to finish. Honestly, I’ve been craving a good BDSM story for some time and haven’t been able to get around to looking for one. Luckily for me Arranged just fell in my lap and I couldn’t be happier.

Kash Kamdar wanted a normal life learning new things and trying to provide for his country with science. That all changed when his older brother and father died and he is forced to be the king of Loa Mali, a role he wasn’t trained of prepared for. While he was at school he met Dayita or Day and that hit it off right away. Ten years later Kash is thick into trouble with his mother who is forcing him to marry so he can stop his promiscuous ways. His mother knows just the woman too, Day. Day has been working on providing education for woman at an early age. She’s had a lot of push-back as of late and becoming queen would help with that. The fact that Day is still attracted to Kash is more of an added bonus. Kash is excited when he finds out Day will be his bride and thinks everything will be okay. Until he finds out she’s a Dominatrix and she believes he’s a sub. Yeah, a lot of push-back and very sexist comments to come.

I seriously enjoyed this story. Kash has so much pressure on him and seems to come across as an alpha male but Day brings it up a notch in the alpha department. She is a no-nonsense woman who doesn’t take or put up with crap from anyone. I loved Day and Kash. There were times when I wanted to shake Kash for being a butt head and being so obtuse sometimes, but he comes around and all is forgiven.

Seriously great story that deals with gender roles, and how it’s okay to not have the power all the time. I seriously will be reading this one again and checking out the other books in this series.

Pin the Tail on the Romance time! My TBR list is at 419 ouf ot 1433 books, so I spun the magic random number generator app to get book #173: Arranged by Lexi Blake

Why Was This In My TBR: I'm not a huge BDSM reader but I will one-click almost anything by Lexi Blake. She mixes alpha with funny like no one else.

Is It Part of A Series: Masters and Mercenaries (#13.5)

Rating: Okay, this may be the first time I'm kind of disappointed by a Lexi Blake hero. Kash popped up several times in the MacKay-Taggart universe before and I was looking forward to the playboy king with no filter's story. Instead of some insouciant dom, we get a very emo suppressed submissive. I have no problem with a submissive hero, if he has a worthy domme heroine, but Kash's mopey poor-little-king-no-one-understands attitude really wore on me.

Luckily, I absolutely loved Dayita. A super smart, capable, sexy domme who is also tender and sweet? Thank you. That Kash recognized that she would be an amazing leader of his country? Oh yes. That the MacKay-Taggart crowd celebrated her domme-ness and fully supported Kash's submissive side? More, please.

Will I Read The Next Book: Yes. I love each visit to the MacKay-Taggart universe. There should be a book of nothing but Ian Taggart giving romance advice to all the dudes.

Lexi Blake is one of my go to authors in the BDSM genre. She has a unique perceptive of the lifestyle that simply dazzles me. She adds so much colour and artistry that just makes the books so special and enjoyable to read. Her books are so profound because she combines sexiness with high paced action that makes you crave more. I am simply spellbound by her books every time.

Arranged is a novella in the Masters and Mercenaries series that features Kashmir Kamdar, King of Loa Mali and Dayita Samar, a woman he must marry. Arranged was a unique book with a powerful storyline that spoke volumes. I was gripped to the story from the first page. Yes it is a novella but it had more plot that really impressed me. Arranged was a passionate and fast paced explosion og greatness that totally gave so much highs I truly enjoyed. It was a dynamic and exciting read with so many complexities that were wickedly brilliant and sinfully addictive. I was completely floored both inside and outside. This book left me begging for more.

Oh my gosh, the characters in Arranged were exceptional and so well written that their thoughts touched me on a whole other level. Kash and Day are totally one of my favourite couples in the Masters and Mercenaries world. They were totally unconventional and unique that they cast a spell on me. Kash was used to be in control in his life that it was just so exciting for him to give up control. I loved Day was the dominant one in the book. It just gave a different edge to the story I loved Lexi Blake explores that part of BDSM. It was truly stunning and beautiful. Plus she gave us the difficulties of a couple like Kash and Day. It was genius.

Arranged really was a fantastic book. A quick read that will make you crave for more. Totally a must read.

These are my Happily Ever After Novel Thoughts...

I love Lexi Blake's writing. She has a great sense of humor and it really shows in her stories, even when the story is at a somber moment.

I enjoyed the story of Kashmir and Dayita. This story isn't as detailed in the sex scenes, which are few and far between, as the other Masters and Mercenaries books. However, it was still a great and enjoyable read.

Kash and Day have quite a bit to overcome to make their life work. With friends on the out, blackmail and murder attempts, and a possible monarch dissolution, can they find their Happily Ever After?

Kash Kamdar, the king of the fictitious nation of Loa Mali has made appearance in previous books in the Masters and Mercenaries series, but now he gets his own book, and it's definitely a departure for Lexi Blake, since the king is a submissive and his new bride in the Domme in their relationship. The look into Kash's psyche is a great psychological exploration of a man who feels he should be in control at all times, even if that's not what his heart wants. Dayita, a commoner and educator, as well as a well-known Domme is allowed to be strong here, and doesn't need to have her authority diminished to prop up Kash's ego. They're a great couple in a really good book.
