Blood of the Tribe

The chance discovery of an ancient Native American chief's grave paves the way for the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe to lay claim to $2 billion worth of prime Cape Cod real estate. Unfortunately for both the townspeople and the tribe, the grave was discovered by con artist Rex Griffin. Though Griffin is run down and left to die in a ditch, he continues to act as puppeteer from the grave, forcing both sides into a high-stakes legal battle that cannot end until the mystery of who killed Griffin is solved.

Just like the first book in this three book series, Blood of the Tribe also deserves a full five stars. This author is so good at making the reader really feel something for the varied and interesting characters in his books. 4 of the people in the first book, Unlawful Deeds, also have key parts in this story, which takes place, for the most part in a town on the Cape, in a new housing development built on land previously owned by an Indian tribe, which still inhabits many of the neighboring businesses and older houses. I think you will need to read the first book to understand Bruce and Shelby's complicated relationship-- not a hardship. Both books are fantastic (I'm in the middle of the third book now).

The writer has a great imagination and a unique perspective on humans and their behaviour and motivations. Even the evil guy is fascinating and the books seem to fly by so fast that you wish they were longer because you oh so want to know: what else are these people up to. This authors great. I enjoyed every minute spent reading this one.

Get your legal pad out this is one mixed up case

Twists scams cheating it's all here, Rex Griffin was always finding a way to get money pretending to agree but knowing he would never carry out the promise. He's a scheming rouge. How the author even can come up with a mixed up story there is so much going on so be ready with a clear mind, this story blew my mind. I highly recommend this book

You can not go wrong with this book

If you want a page turner, well plotted, great characters and an excellent story... this book is for you. Bet you can not figure it until Brody tells you. Five stars for sure. I have yet to be dissatisfied with any of his books.

Blood of the Tribe

This was a fun read while keeping your mind engaged. I especially like novels that use actual history. I don't believe it works as a stand-alone book. I would have missed much without having read Book #1 first. The relevance of Bruce's self-imposed isolation would not make sense.

not as good as the first one. the author spends the last chapter explaining every thing. means he did not know how to end it in an artful way.
