A Song for Rory had me captivated from the first sentence and I didn't want to stop reading.

The story had me feeling a wide variety of emotions, I even cried at one point which is a rare thing for me, and that is one of the things to me that makes a great book.

The romance between Rory and Sawyer was complicated because of how Sawyer broke things off and also because of a family secret Sawyer learns about recently, but I enjoyed watching them reconnect and then try to overcome obstacles that arose as they went.

I'd highly recommend this book to anyone who loves contemporary fiction. I'm planning on reading the other two books in this series as soon as I can.

As usual Harlequin delivers a beautiful romance story, but this time we also have the insight of the two main characters as they review their history from personal point of views. We watch them rebuild their lives and fall in love all over again. This truly is a heartwarming story that touches and warms your heart. Well written with believable characters.

My rating of "A Song For Rory" is 5 out of 5 stars.

I thought I was picking up a book to read a sweet reunion story ... and I did. It was so sweet and makes your heart warm how their love remained even through separation and heartache ... but there was more. What I didn't realize was that I was also picking up a book with an eye opening, heart-wrenching dip into the sad injustices that we sometimes have to face within the blink of an eye. Life isn't fair, and it's often not pretty ... but sometimes in life, love can find a way to outweigh the bad ... even if just for a little while. I highly recommend you read this book ... it's so fantastic I can't even find the words to tell you!

Country music star Sawyer Landry has just won the top award in his field and should be flying high, but he can't help but feel regret and guilt over leaving Rory behind. They were best friends, high school sweethearts, together for years with their future together mapped out in their heads for so long ... until he left her to pursue his dreams. He can't regret the things he's accomplished, but it just doesn't seem to be enough to keep her out if his mind. He decides to head home to Findlay Roads ... and see if he can get his girl back!

Rory Calhoun gave up a lot of her dreams when Sawyer walked out on the future they were supposed to be living together. She has great family and friends around her, but she never really moved on. When Sawyer gets back into town and comes to find her, she can't believe he has the audacity to come smiling back at her like she's just going to forgive and forget! He sets out to show her how much she has meant to him even if he wasn't there with her, but shortly after he arrives, the world falls out from under him when a secret is revealed!

From page one I couldn't put this book down. Cerella Sechrist did a fantastic job revolving the storyline around a disease most people don't talk about.....Early Onset Alzheimer's. The main characters, Sawyer and Rory are so easy to fall in love with (although I wanted to smack Sawyer a few times lol). I laughed, I cried, I couldn't put the book down.
