If the first book had a problem it was how it ended. I wanted more and A Farther Orbit gives more.
Picking up were The Origami Man ended A Farther Orbit follows Gregory Samson as he leaves Earth
I actually wonder if they would have made a better book one big volume. But that is nit picking.
Benjamin has given a lot of thought to the Galaxy he has built, there is a reason or a rationalization for everything, a lot of stuff that obviously bothered him about other space adventures is deftly handled.
