Return to the Troyer farm where, despite stressful changes occurring in their lives, Joel and Heidi once again open their Ohio home up to those seeking to learn about Amish cooking. This time a teenager helping her divorced dad cook for the family, a caterer needing new recipes, a food critic, a hunter looking to impress his buddies, a wife given the class as an unwanted gift, and a mailman lured in by the aroma of good cooking gather around Heidi s table. More than good food is exchanged, though, as friendships form, a romance blossoms, and hearts are healed."

The Blessing by Wanda Brunstetter is The second book in The Amish Cooking Class series . Spending time reading this book is like visiting with old friends as we revisit some of the characters from her first book in this series and catch up with their lives. We also meet a new cast of characters that Heidi open her Ohio home to as she teaches her 6 new students in a cooking class. There are 3 men and 3 women from all walks of life. They get to know each other and form friendships and just maybe a romance will develop slowly for a few of them. Wanda really pours her heart into her books and makes the characters come alive for us and we get to know them. I felt a lot of emotions as I read this and was glad to see the characters lives taking a turn for the better through hard work, faith, forgiveness and perseverance. Very enjoyable book and I look forward to getting to know the characters in Wanda's book 3 in the series when it releases. Pub Date 01 Aug 2017 Thank you to NetGalley and Barbour Publishing, Inc. for a review copy in exchange for my honest review.
How to write a review without giving spoilers, when there is so much I want to say!? I will say that, if you don't know by now, Wanda Brunstetter is one of my absolute favorite Amish novelists. She never fails to hook me with her books and keep me entertained the entire way through. And, The Blessing, book 2 in her Amish Cooking Class series is no exception! I was hooked from the beginning and held captive til the very end. True talent!
The Blessing picks up where book 1, The Seekers, left off. Heidi and Lyle Troyer are adopting a baby but a sad circumstance leaves Heidi heartbroken and once again teaching a class to occupy her mind. She, once again, opens her home to strangers and the fun begins! Each new character brings something special to the story and I loved watching Heidi interact with them. The messages thrown into the story and watching the characters realize what those messages were, was truly refreshing!
This book is deserving of so much more than 5 stars! Mrs. Brunstetter has created another wonderful novel that every Amish fiction fan (and those that are new to the genre!) will fall in love with. Not only with her writing style, but also with the characters. They quickly become a part of the reader! I highly recommend this book to all book lovers! Hats off to the talented Mrs. Brunstetter, once again! I can't wait for book 3 to release. This review was originally posted on Cafinated Reads
Book 2 in the Amish Cooking Class Series. OH my what a fabulous series. This is the kind of book you read in one sitting and are left wanting more. I loved going back to Heidi's house for cooking classes and life lessons. I loved the recipes that are at the end of the book. Heidi, wrote recipes out for the class and on the back of the recipe cards she wrote a Bible verse. I would love to take the cooking class with Heidi. She is one Amish lady I would love to be friends with.
I was sad for Heidi but in the end this was such a great book. Brunstetter has a way with Amish fiction that no other author does. She is not your average Amish fiction writer. You never read the same thing always fresh and she always writes stories that have God's hand all over the whole book.
I gave this book 5 stars and I HIGHLY recommend this book, The whole series.
The Mary Reader received this book from the author for review. A favorable review was not required and all views expressed are our own.
In this sweet, heart warming story, a cooking class brings unique individuals together in unexpected ways. The author brings to life each character and their situation. Amazing how something as simple as getting together to learn to cook can create long lasting friendships and more. I enjoyed this story very much. I received a copy of this story from the author, Barbour Publishing and Net Galley and this is my personal honest opinion. I was under no obligation to post a review.
Heidi, an Amish woman, sees her adoption of an infant fall through and to keep herself busy decided to run another 6 session cooking class. Six people sign up for the class from very different lifestyles. Recipes, friendships and romance develope as the class continues. A nice story that made you think. Recipes are at the end of the book.
Per my Original Review, I still feel the same way about this book!! Rating: 5 Stars Review: Another great book in this series by Wanda!!
The Characters were so fun and enjoyable to read about!! Heidi, Nicole, Lisa and Allie were definately my favorites for different reasons. Loved the mixture of characters in this book
The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Ohio while reading, especially when the scenery was described.
Overall Another Good book in this Amish Fiction Series!! Just like Books 1 and 3 in this series it ended with a happy ending for all the character mentioned in this book and series!!! Can't wait to read Book 3 and More in this Series in the future!!
The Blessing will draw readers in with the variety of students in Heidi Troyer’s current Amish Cooking class. Each one has their own issues to deal with and reluctant initially to share openly with one another. The characters are well developed and how their own struggles in life will play out kept the pages turning. Plus, Heidi struggles with wanting a child of her own with her and Lyle being married for 9 years. Realistic events transpired with each student and connection to Heidi’s previous students made this an enjoyable read. The Blessing is filled with wonderful Amish recipes and is a heartwarming story with characters readers will be able to connect with. The Blessing has interwoven scriptures to assist the characters in their lives with disappointments, separation, hardship, romance, faith, forgiveness, second chances and learning to trust God. I look forward to the final installment in the Amish Cooking Class series, The Celebration.
I received a complimentary copy of The Blessing from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review but have shared my honest opinion.
The Blessing ( The Amish Cooking Class - #2 ) By; Wanda E. Brunstetter The Blessing is book two in The Amish Cooking Class Series By Wanda Brunstetter. I have enjoyed these first two books in the series. The author draws you into the story right away. Heidi and Lyle are opening their homes up to another round of Heidi’s cooking classes. They think that they will be good for Heidi. She is wanting a baby so bad. Six more new students and all are taking the classes for different reasons.. Heidi’s recipes she is teaching to her students are found in the back of the book. These recipes all look and sounds so good. I also love that Heidi put a Bible verse on the back of each students recipe. I was given a complimentary ARC of this book ,but was not told that I had top give a positive review.
In the Amish fiction genre, Wanda E. Brunstetter is a solid, dependable writer; I know what to expect and am never disappointed. Her characters are relatable and have depth, it’s easy to get caught up in the storyline, and spiritual themes are gently woven throughout, in a way that comforts and even makes me think.
The Blessing, continuing the Amish Cooking Class series that began with The Seekers, is about family and relationships. While there’s some overlapping of characters and themes, sufficient background is given so that this book can stand alone. But if you’re like me, you’ll want to go back and read the previous one if you haven’t already.
I loved the cooking class theme because ordinary people from various walks of life are pulled into the story. They all have some type of problem or insecurity, because that’s life – and the story reflects how life in Christ is to be lived. I was entertained and impressed by how the lives of all these characters interconnected. But best of all was the way Heidi, while dealing with her own personal struggles, shared her faith in a creative way – by writing a Scripture verse on the back of each lesson’s recipe card. Each verse seemed to be exactly what someone needed to hear at the time, and this reminded me of how easy it is to witness in the simplest of ways, then step back and let God work.
The Blessing comes to a satisfactory conclusion, but with the promise of much more to come. Several recipes are included at the end … “Chicken in a Crumb Basket” sounded delicious and I will be trying it soon.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to The Celebration in February 2018. Recommended.
I was provided a free copy of this book from Barbour Publishing. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
The Blessings. Book two of Wanda Brunstetters Amish Cooking Class series. I found this book to be warm and inviting. I loved the smooth flow of the story. Wanda has a way of taking the ordinary events that happen in the day to day lives of her characters, and turning them into interesting things to read about. She drew me into Heidi Troyer's kitchen with the rest of the students, as the cooking classes began. At the start of the book Heidi get disappointing news. Saddened for a while she decides to find something worthwhile to do with her time to put her mind on something else. She places an add for students for her second cooking class. Five students sign up for the classes with a sixth one signing up after the first lesson is done. Wanda takes readers into the lives of each student. We get to know the students and become friends with each of them. We cheer for a hurting family and follow a budding romance. See a marriage that has grown cold . Also we get to keep up with some of the members of the first cooking class from The Seekers. I loved this story. It's about disappointment that sometime comes when we don't expect it. When we rise up to make the best of it God always turns our disappointments into blessings. That's what he did for Heidi and Lyle Troyer and for each student of the cooking class. I strongly recommend The Blessing to all readers of Amish Fiction. I was given a copy of the book from the author and publisher. I have given an honest review on how I felt about the book .
The story continues with Heidi and Lyle along with some new characters and a delightful story line. Kendra a character from the first book is given an opportunity that eventually affects both Heidi and Lyle. Can't give details it will ruin the story. In this book we meet Bill whom is razzed by his friends about his cooking during their annual camping trip. Nicole, a high school student who is struggling since her mother left and was an alcoholic. Allie, a mother of 2 and husband who is a cop. Lisa, a caterer who wants to learn some new dishes to serve in her catering business. Todd, a food critic who decides to write an article about the cooking class Lance, a postman decided to learn something new after his wife past away. Each person has there own problems and with the Bible verses Heidi places on each card they all soon realize something valuable to change them or their outlook on life. I feel like I knew each of the characters and want to hug some, shake some and encourage others. I hope there is a 3rd book because it left the ending to open. Love this story and so will you. By the way there is something interesting coming for Heidi and Lyle. and Eli and Loretta make an appearance in the book along with Kendra.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a positive review.
The Blessing is book two in the Amish Cooking Class series by Wanda E. Brunstetter. I so love this series. It is packed with faith, hope, heartache, and longing. This story will tug at your heartstrings. If you love Amish fiction then make sure you get a copy of The Blessing. It is a must read book. I received a complimentary copy of this book. This review is my honest opinion 4.5 stars!
I've read several Amish fiction books; the first (and most memorable) being a few of Beverly Lewis' early series. I've kind of taken a break from them lately, but I was initially drawn to Amish Cooking Class: The Blessing by its cover. The woman pictured really looked like she could be Amish to me. It seems that often the "Amish" person pictured on such covers resembles Barbie more than a member of the "plain" faith.
I'm glad I did request this book to review. It was enjoyable. The main character is Heidi Troyer, an Amish woman who is so sweet and agreeable she must dream only of unicorns and Jesus. Wishing she could have kids but unable to, Heidi keeps busy teaching cooking classes. Honestly I'm not sure how busy they keep her, because there are only six, and they're held two weeks apart.
The six students who come to her class have varied backgrounds: the overworked teen daughter of an alcoholic mom who is struggling with life. The older lonely widower who misses his late wife. The harried mom of two preschoolers. Heidi teaches them to make six Amish recipes (all included in the book), and while they're cooking, the participants share life stories with each other.
If a Hallmark movie could become a book, this book is what it might become. Because while there are struggles, they all turn out great in the end. The woman whose police officer husband is shot comes out of surgery just fine, only needing to miss work for several weeks. The cooking class member who is a newspaper critic and honestly a bit of a jerk ends up realizing his need for God and for church attendance. The alcoholic mom similarly recognizes the error of her ways and tearfully apologizes to her entire family. Realistic? Maybe not -- but sometimes a sweet, happy read is just what you need. That's what you'll get here.
The book is full of Heidi's cheery attitude. When her plans for adopting a baby fall through, Heidi says, "I'm disappointed, of course, but it's a situation I cannot change, so I am trying to accept it as God's will." She writes Bible verses onto the back of the recipe cards she sends with students after each class, and the participants always take these to heart. Amish Details
Author Wanda Brunstetter has done her research about the Amish, and details about their lives are woven in in a way that's not obtrusive. Recently, we drove through an Amish area and my kids saw solar panels on some houses and thought these would disqualify those houses as belonging to the Amish. The next day, I read in this book that some Amish do indeed have solar panels in their houses. Interesting!
Amish Cooking Class: The Blessing is the second book in a series, but it was no problem for me to begin with this book. There were some references made to people in the first cooking class, but reading that isn't necessary to enjoying this one. I see that a third book in the series will be out this winter, as well as an Amish cookbook based on recipes from the "cooking club."
Releases August 1, 2017 This is the second book in The Amish Cooking Class series. Book #1: The Amish Cooking Class - The Seekers
My Review:
In Book 1 of this series, there were five students in Heidi Troyer's first cooking class ~ this story almost had five students too ~ until the Troyers' mailman gets a whiff of Heidi's cooking as she opens the door for a package too big for their mailbox. Missing the first class that morning, he is eager to catch up!
Others in Heidi's class share their lives ~ unexpectedly ~ as they become more comfortable with themselves and their decisions outside of class. Heidi's addition of a Scripture verse on the back of the recipe note card goes home with them ~ and their hearts. Praying for them during the week, Heidi wonders which one or ones the Scripture is meant for as they return for the continuation of the six cooking lessons.
I liked how one member of the class aided another anonymously to relieve their overload. The recipient hears a conversation and is thankful to be able to share appreciation. Beyond Heidi's recipes, lives are touched. Not initially realizing their isolation, new friendships are formed.
The author's story is conversational as the daily happenings of the five participants are followed and interchanged within a chapter. Characters from the first book are intermittently referred to in continuation of their lives and interaction to Heidi and her husband.
Heidi's recipes she taught in this second class are included in the back of this book. You will look forward to 200+ practical recipes in the spiral bound Amish Cooking Class Cookbook releasing in February 2018, and... book 3 in this series: Amish Cooking Class - The Celebration releases then too!
***Thank you to Barbour's Review Crew for inviting me to join in this second book and sending me a copy. This review was written in my own words. No other compensation was received.***
The Blessing by Wanda Brunstetter is the second Amish Cooking Class novel. Heidi Troyer is married to Lyle, an auctioneer, and they are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Kendra’s baby. Kendra is living with the couple (after her father threw her out when he discovered she was pregnant), and she has agreed to let Heidi and Lyle adopt her baby. When things do not go as planned, Lyle suggests Heidi hold another cooking class (keep her busy). Six people join Heidi in her home and each of them have a different reason. Lance is a postal carrier who has lost his wife, Nicole is a high school student who has struggling since her mother left, Todd is a food critic who is going to write an article about the class, Allie is a housewife with two kids who worries about her policeman husband and their marriage, Lisa is a local caterer who is hoping to learn new dishes for her business, and Bill who wishes to learn new dishes to impress his camping buddies. Heidi will teach them Amish dishes and share some of God’s wisdom with them through Bible verses. Heidi knows this group of people were brought together for a reason, and she looks forward to the experience. It will help Heidi deal with her own heartbreak. See what God has planned for each of these individuals and what the future hold for the Troyer’s in The Blessing.
The Blessing is well-written and engaging. I was immediately drawn into the story and I did not want it to end. I was captivated by this novel (which rarely happens). The Blessing contains characters that could be my own neighbor, relative, or mail carrier. Each of them have problems or situations that individuals experience every day. I thought the characters were well-developed and thought out by the author. I like seeing how each of the characters change over the course of the cooking classes. I was glad that the author updated readers on the individuals from The Seekers (they are nicely woven into the story). My rating for The Blessing is 5 out of 5 stars. I do recommend reading The Seekers before starting The Blessing (you will not regret reading either book). I found The Seekers to be heartwarming and uplifting. It is the type of novel that fills me with hope (which is desperately needed in our mixed-up society). I really appreciated the Bible verses the author included in the book. The enhanced the story and were meaningful. There are recipes and discussion questions at the end of the book. If you like to read Amish or Christian novels, I recommend reading The Blessing. I cannot wait to read the next book in the Amish Cooking Class series.
Return to the Troyer farm where, despite stressful changes occurring in their lives, Joel and Heidi once again open their Ohio home up to those seeking to learn about Amish cooking. This time a teenager helping her divorced dad cook for the family, a caterer needing new recipes, a food critic, a hunter looking to impress his buddies, a wife given the class as an unwanted gift, and a mailman lured in by the aroma of good cooking gather around Heidi's table. More than good food is exchanged, though, as friendships form, a romance blossoms, and hearts are healed."
My Review:
This is such a sweet, sweet series full of possibilities. We see in this addition to Amish Cooking Class, that the author gives us a broad range of characters to choose from that are full of life. We get a chance to learn all about each of them. Heidi is my favorite of all though because she is so simple in her ways. She places a Bible verse in front of them every day. A subtle way to get God's love in them and soon those seeds start to blossom into beautiful fruit.
Each of this year's participants in cooking school have had or are going through their own trails and situations that would cause a major blow to anyone, but Heidi and Joel show them that there is more to this world than even they know. And this beautiful, generous couple model for them the grace and love that the Master does to all of us that believe in Him, every day.
A sweet story of love and grace with some romance mixed in! Great read!
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author. All opinions are my own.
I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This new treasure by Wanda Brunstetter is a real gem. Better than the last one in the series.
Heidi is up doing another cooking class after another heartbreak. And, like the first novel, we get to meet multiple new characters each facing a problem. Todd, a food critic who is a married to his work; Lisa, a single woman with a struggling catering business; Nicole, a teenager forced to grow up too fast to replace her mother in her family's life; Bill, a lonely janitor; Ally, a mother who suspects her husband is cheating on her; Lance, who has a brother who gets on his nerves constantly; and Kendra from the last book trying to live her life as a single mother.
This book is really enlightening, portraying real life situations (and one particular that hits home with me). You will not be able to put this book down.
“The Blessing” is book 2 in Wanda Brunstetter’s The Amish Cooking Class series. I enjoyed book 1 a bit more than this one, but I still did like “The Blessing”. Some of the characters responses to things and the things they said didn’t always seem realistic. I did enjoy getting to know all the characters. It was fun getting to see Heidi Troyer, the Amish woman who runs the cooking classes, again in this book. It was also fun getting to meet the new cooking class members. This book had eight different points of view so it was a little hard to keep track of who was who in the beginning, but it didn’t take too long to get to know everyone. This book also mentions the cooking class members from book 1, some more than others, but I thought it was fun to get a little update about their lives.
Ms. Brunstetter was one of the first Christian Authors I found - and she has NEVER let me down. This book is just as amazing as all the rest. The Blessing by Wanda Brunstetter is the second Amish Cooking Class novel. Heidi and her husband Lyle open their home to allow an Amish cooking class. The people that come all have different stories. But it is clear they are all there for a reason. Heidi will teach them Amish dishes and share some of God’s wisdom with them through Bible verses. As usual, I was drawn in by the first few pages. The story is engaging and kept me page turning. The characters are beautifully written and the story line kept me going. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review
Great characters who really come to life throughout the book as they attend cooking classes with Heidi in her Amish home and learn more about both cooking and the Amish culture and apply scriptures Heidi shares with them on the recipe cards to their own lives and change their lives for the better (or do they?! I hate spoilers!) Books by Wanda Brunsetter are always uplifting and clean and entertaining, without being crude, inappropriate, or shying away from sharing scriptures. They are some of my favorite books to read.
Heidi is teaching another cooking class and I couldn't wait to see what she would get up to! Like in the first book in the series, Heidi has Englisher students come to her home for Amish cooking classes. And again, each student has a set of problems they are working through. I really love how you can see one person could affect another, even with something little. And how even the little things we do for others could make such a huge difference.
I already ordered the third book in the series and I can't wait to see Heidi get two foster children so she can finally be a mom!
This is the second book in a series about an Amish woman who teaches cooking classes. In the class were six students from all walks of life. Students from the first class are also in this book. I especially liked Allie who was given the class as a gift. Her husband is a police officer who she suspects is having an affair. Heidi and her husband have decided to become foster parents and I can see the next book including the new children. Good easy reading.
This is book two in the Amish Cooking Class series and it is like putting on your favorite bath robe to revisit characters from The Seekers. Heidi is teaching a new class of six unique people from diverse backgrounds, each with different difficulties they are dealing with. Heidi's scripture verses that she shares on the back of her recipe cards will affect each character. Nicole is my favorite character from the new class and the burdens she carries from choices her mother makes are heart wrenching. The book is a perfect example of the scripture Heidi shares, " The things which are impossible with man are possible with God". Watching each of them grow and change makes for an enjoyable read. I liked catching up with new developments in Kendra's life and look forward to where it leads. I'm looking forward to book three as Heidi takes on a new challenge. I received a complimentary copy from the author/publisher. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.
This review was originally posted on Buy, Borrow, Skip I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. If you read my review of The Seekers, book 1 in Wanda E. Brunstetter’s Amish Cooking Class series, then you know I wasn’t exactly excited about this series when I first heard about it. You will also know that I totally changed my mind while reading The Seekers.
Well, after being excited for the next book in the series, The Blessing, to release, I am so glad I gave this series a chance! I actually think I may have liked this book slightly more than the first one!
In The Blessing we get to return to the Troyer farm where Heidi is going to teach another Amish cooking class. I’m really enjoying this theme of Amish cooking classes. I think it has something to do with my interest in the simpler life, as well as the great food many Amish are known for. I also enjoy how the class brings a group of strangers together.
One of the people I most enjoyed reading about was a food critic. This individual didn’t share their reason for taking the class, which caused some issues. I think I liked the uniqueness of the character in this type of setting the most.
I also enjoyed how Wanda carried the story over from The Seekers with Kendra’s baby. There is a surprising spin near the beginning of this book that I didn’t see coming, but made for a touching and thought provoking storyline.
As you can tell, I really enjoyed this installment of the Amish Cooking Class series. I’m hoping there are more books to come about Joel and Heidi.
After reading and liking the first book in this series I was excited to see a 2nd book! I was given the opportunity to read the book (given for free from the publisher) in exchange for my honest review. I love the simplicity of the story and the focus on cooking. I've tried a recipe from the back of the book and it was pretty good. I'm excited to try the others. Loved the scripture included and the parts of the story relating to life change through the Lord. That was the best part of the story! Wanda has a great way of including scripture and the work of the Lord in people's lives in her stories. Love that. Also love how real issues are addressed. My high hopes were a little dashed from the first few pages. I had a hard time falling in love with the book. I felt like I was having a hard time reading each sentence. It was like there was too much detail jammed into one sentence and it was distracting. I had to read and reread sentences just to connect the dots. This was a huge distraction for me. I did like how the story started with Heidi and Lyle. But then it jumped into short bios/introductions of each of the people who would eventually be in the next cooking class. This was fine at first. The info was applicable. But then the amount of time spent on each of the class attendees started to be more plentiful than the main storyline about Heidi and Lyle. I wanted more info about Heidi and instead I got a whole bunch of detail about the side characters. I found myself skipping over these sections because I had a hard time seeing how they were necessary. There didn't seem to be any kind of real through story line. There were all these little story lines and the main story line was so thin and not developed. I was disappointed. I wanted to know more about Heidi and her husband and their family. I thought at a few points in the book that all Heidi's fatigue was going to lead to her being pregnant by surprise... but that was not the case. I think something like that would have really added to the story. I am just feeling kinda meh about this story...
Back with Heidi and Lyle as she gears up for a new cooking class, they revisit (sometimes ever so briefly by letter) with the previous students and we meet an entire new group of students. Might as well meet them right? Allie is the wife of a cop with two young children. Honestly? She annoyed me a bit. Lisa, a caterer, is interesting and I'd like to know more about her. Todd, the restaurant critic, is about as arrogant and self-important as you can imagine he is. Bill, the head janitor confuses me a bit. I can't get a good initial read on him. Nicole, just a teenager with adult responsibilities on her plate, is everything a teenager is. But she kinda annoys me too. And a late addition to the class is Lance, the mail carrier, who leaves me a bit confused and I don't really feel the bond with him positive or negative.
I feel like this book may be a smidge better than the first one (The Seekers) but it's a toss up really. Wanda develops the characters so well and despite the limited time each character truly gets she builds great backstories that merge well into the kitchen. Kendra is back with a precious baby while Loretta has joined the Amish faith officially. It was like settling in with old friends again while learning new people and getting glimpses of past people. I loved seeing how Heidi takes her simple charm, her innocent confidence, and her open heart and opens up the students to herself and each other. The ending left room for a third book and for that I am super excited to find out about. Wanda just makes you feel good and this series is a warm hug each time you get to settle in and chat with Heidi and her students.
I was provided a complimentary copy of this book by Wanda E. Brunstetter through Barbour Publishing and NetGalley. I was not compensated for this review and all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. I was not required to write a positive review.
There's a reason why Wanda Brunstetter is one of my all-time favorite Amish authors and this book is once again a favorite book. Heidi continues to teach her cooking class as a way to heal herself, after her husband suggests it might give her peace. The class helps the participants as much as it helps her. I give this book a rating of 5 stars and highly recommend it to readers. This book would be appropriate for teen readers as well as adults as it is a clean, refreshing book. I received a copy of this book from netgalley, the author, and Shiloh Run Press in exchange for my honest review. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.
The Blessing by Wanda E. Brunstetter is the second book in the Amish Cooking Class Series. It is a wonderful story to read! Heidi and Lyle Troyer's story continues in this book. Heidi has a new set of students enrolled in her cooking class. Each student has their own set of problems. Heidi gives encouragement to each of her students. This story is a wonderful read that holds your attention from the first chapter to the last page. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down until I finished reading the whole story!!
