Okk so my original review suckedddd, I guess it's time to fix it up a bit!!

This book is very amazing for being a debut novel from a teen. It's not extremely long and though I'm not an expert in these matters I think it would be considered a novella?? But anyway, whatever it is considered, it was GREAT. I don't mean perfect, not by any means, but it was super enjoyable and I loved it.

I wish it was a little longer and that the author had spent more time on the adventure part. Plus I kind of hated

* I was apporached by the lovely author for a free copy in exchange for an honest review - totally didn't change my view of the novel in any way!*

When she approached me to see if I would be interested in reading and reviewing her book, I was totally psyched. And let's just say that it totally lived up to my thoughts on how it would be.

I say this is a great middle grade read because it is something I know my 5th grade self would have loved (I was a super reader at that age). For an adult reader, the book had a few issues with the pacing being too fast and the plot and characters not being too well developed. With that being said, it was still a cute,

Great story

I was intrigued to read this book because it was written by a friend. I was caught up in the book very early. I will immediately start reading the 2nd book in the trilogy. She told a beautiful story full of life and vivid details. If you allow it she will transport you to beautiful coutries.
