There wasn't much here that I haven't already read online. Basically, vinegar and baking soda, which is great, but just not new to me.

And I think there were only about 5 ingredients called for in the whole book. Amazing!

I always feel a bit sheepish reading "Dummies" books. The line seems rather silly. But for a clear, concise introduction to a topic the dummies books are often a good way to go. Goldsmith explains the importance of environmentally friendly household cleaning (something on which I was already sold), and covers a variety of options for the materials and the ways to apply the principles. The book is a good place to start.

A little too preachy to start... What I was looking for was found in Chapter 6 - recipes to make my own green cleaning products. I've been trying to switch to more chemical free, natural cleaning methods but I'm still learning.

I liked this book better than Green Goes With Everything, but some parts were very repetitive.
