Welcome to Twirled World Ink where the crazies run the asylum.

The hum of a tattoo machine was Brian “Berzerker” Anderson’s favorite sound in the world. He’d won a coveted spot at Twirled World Ink with a legend in the business, Gib Phelps. Creating beauty with his large, scarred hands was his happy place—the pla

Reread October 2017

This is one of my go to authors. I reread this series when I just need easy does it.

Reread April 2017
I enjoyed it just as much if not more the second time. I love this whole series.

Original read February 2017

I really enjoyed this once I got used to the writing. It was a bit different and I had a hard time following along at times. BUT, these two were great together and deserved each other. It was funny at times and I love all these guys and can't wait to read their books as

Damn I loved Zerk and Landon. These boys were perfect for each other. Low on angst, high on love and family. This book was great for me. Zerk is this big, burly, growly man that had such a soft spot for Landon.

There were many lol moments too. The cast of secondary characters is awesome. This is my first book by this author and I can't wait to read more about the boys of Twirled World Ink. Bring on Trouble.

I both loved and hated this story fiercely.

Let me start with what I loved about this cute, friends to lovers romance.

I loved how Landon and Zerk interacted with one another. I loved that once they finally get together there is no b.s. or jealousy games - they trust each other implicitly and are there for one another. I loved the fun, passionate sex scenes. The two definitely know what turns their cranks and they are all about giving each other what they need.

I loved the secondary characters. I c

It drove me berserk.

This wasn't a terrible story and it might have had potential with more plot and a less pointless sub plot. There was some characterization but everyone was made too extreme, too outré, to the point of being little more than caricatures, including the overuse of nicknames for everyone. Normally I excuse some editing errors in a self-pub book but this was so badly written with run-on sentences, poor punctuation and badly constructed dialogue that doesn't even lend itself to bei

Thirst things first - things like this! Misspelling nightmare; poor sentence structure; telling, not showing. . . A shame because this was actually a nice story, the sex was strong, mostly the characters were likeable (sometimes I just wasn't bothered about them - no real reason, they were just a bit inconsistent). I don't think I'll continue with this series because of the above - and as I say it's a pity because it has great potential. An author to watch? Maybe. ...more

The first thing I had to do, while reading this, was turn off any need to correct (or notice) the bad grammar and editing found in this. I can only hope that in time, as the author gains experience, these will be things that get remedied, because there were a lot of mistakes and it did get distracting at times.

The second thing I noticed, however, was how much fun this was! The characters felt very fleshed out and had both a gritty, real feel to them, with a bit of fictional “fairy tale” quality

In desperate need of editing but I was still engaged with the story and this tattooed, pierced and unabashedly wild bunch of guys. Completely OTT but I found it surprisingly endearing.

Recommended if you're not overly picky about punctuation and like a story featuring a huge, pierced and tattooed husky bear with a belly and a preppy sweetheart.
this was a nice story with the emphasis on nice
Zerk and Landon are perfect for each other and the romance was very smooth

love the rest of the crew and can't wait to read the other books

Even rough and tumble, big bearded bears need love too!
This cover is so perfect; Zerk is gorgeous!

Zerk, is a tattoo artist at Twisted Ink. Those guys are crazy.. every single one of them. They're family though and if they were real people, I'd totally hang out with every single one of them lol
Anyway, back to Zerk; he's just got dumped by the douchiest of douchebags who used to run him down about his huskey body type and his need for rough sex. The guy didn't seem to like anything about Zerk so

I enjoyed reading this , and it was a feel good read , but there were a fair few grammatical errors .
And on occasions it took some working out , as to whose point of view you were reading
However , i'll definitely be checking out the next in the series .

If I managed to find editing issues it's because they are very noticeable, English is my second language and most of the time those kind of errors often goes unnoticed, but here they were too many to ignore.
You can't use this book as an English Tutorial for sure, however, I just love the setting, the characters the plot too much to stop reading this series because of editing or punctuation issues.

4 Stars for the cute story but I just had to deduct a star for the extreme use of run-on sentences. Holy shit, please, for the love of god, get an editor. I found myself adding my own punctuation the entire book. Quite distracting. That said, I will read the next book and cross my fingers that someone, anyone, stepped in with a serious amount of periods. :)
The writing was choppy and the chapter titles were strange.
I did enjoy Zerk and Landon finally getting together.

Berzerker is the first book in the Twirled World Ink series by new to me author JM Dabney. Before writing this review I actually read all four books in succession and then mulled over just how I was going to review them.

Let me explain – I LOVED the time and the place these books are set in. Each book offers another couple who are imperfectly perfect for each other. The secondary characters in each story are great and each book ends with a tease of what is to follo

This book is Sweet in its own way. The Way that Landon and Zerk finally get together after years of being close friends but also both wanting each other. They are totally perfect for each other. Low Drama in this book other than the Slightly crazy Ex. Really enjoy reading these books. And I Love all the Supporting characters and that they each get their own books as well.

I laughed my ass off with this book and I can NOT wait to read the rest of this series. Oh my gah!! These guys are some screwballs and a half and I love them all. Tattoo artists and bar owners who are bikers and love to brawl or screw. Lol. As one of them put it. And I was editing lol. Each of these guys have such an eclectic personality. You've got nudists, hippies, ones who never lie and that's no joke, some who permanently scowl lol, and they all just trade sass, smartassness, bar brawls and ...more
The fun of this romance is that Zerk and Landon are already crazy about each other and everyone knows it.

They just need to make the love an get together. And they do. Zerk has a great dog. They both have great parents and friends.

We get to see the relationship lift off.

It is a happy read. Of note, Dabney makes it clear that this couple is happy being dog daddies and no kids are planned so a nice rep of different reproduction choices and wants.

First off, I loved the chapter headings. Yes, I know it’s a silly little thing but they made me laugh. Second, the cover. Berzerker on this cover looks just like I picture him. Landon, not quite as much but he fits. Third, the secondary characters here, both family and friend-family, are a force unto themselves. I’ll come back to them.
Berzerker, or Zerk, is a tough, bearded, tattoo artist at Twirled World Ink who has just gotten dumped by his boyfriend of over a year. They were scheduled to mov

There’s a lot to like with this story. In Berzerker you are entering a world of men with interesting names (nicknames) their love for inking and motorcycles, and the fact that they accept they are not everyone’s cup of tea.
What I loved about this book: Berzerker isn’t your average guy in this genre. I don’t get to read a lot of characters that aren’t model beautiful. Berzerker is a husky, hairy, inked up guy. He’s a kinky alpha man with a heart of pure gold. His character is stunning to me. I lo

Think I got a new fave author. Yes there were errors, but nothing so crazy that they yanked me out (course I'd read they'd be there so that might have made a difference. ) Regardless, there was plenty of fun, outrageous, over the top characters, but under it all is two men who've been circling each other for years finally giving in and winning each other's hearts. ...more

I actually came across one of the other books in this series and thought I would go back and give them a try. I am a tad bit anal about reading books in a series in order! *grin*

Now, my thoughts... I thought it would be darker and funnier (is that a word?) but, lucky for me it wasn't dark, at all! I would say it was borderline "fluffy"... even the barfight was fluffy. How did the author manage that? *scratches head*

I found Landon and Zerk to be adorable and the family dynamics... just pick a set

I try not to look at reviews when I find a new book to read! Especially if it has a lot of bad reviews! If I had looked I would have missed out on a pretty good book!! Perfect start for a series! Can wait to read the rest! (:

I like it better this time, but I still stick to the 3 stars.

“I’ll show you Teddy Bear, boy,” He bit down harder, pinching Landon’s skin sharply between his teeth and gripped Landon’s ass so hard he hoped he left bruises. “If you wanna play, I can guarantee,” He stroked his tongue over the small red mark. “I won’t leave an inch of your body without a mark. You wanna keep poking the bear?”

I loved this book! It had everything I love....inked men, bearded faces, motorcycles, and can I just say, the dirty talk in this the charts A+++++.
I really liked both the MC's. Zerk was a sweet, gentle bear of a man, who has his kinks. And those kinks were hot. Landon was a perfect match for him. The author really did well creating their relationship and showing how their love grew.
The Twirled Ink crew were awesome as well. I can't wait to read their stories.
This is a new-to-me au
Listen this was a good book, the characters are great.. the storyline was good.. I want to read more.. my BIIGGEESSSTT issue was the fucking editing! Drove me nuts. Misused words, grammatical errors, punctuation is key my friends! I had to read some sentences more than once to understand it.. why? I shouldn't have to work at reading a book. I want to keep reading though, tattooed gay men who ride motorcycles.. oh and are tattoo artist! I mean.. what more could you ask for! I really hope the shit ...more
