Patricia Josephine has a gift for presenting physically disturbing circumstances in a completely normal and comfortable way.

I went into the book completely blind. I didn't even see the cover until I was 3/4 the way through. That means I also didn't read the blurb. Why would I read something without at least a guess about the content? Because I absolutely adored one of the author's previous books. This one was a little warmer on the heat scale than I usually like them (hello New Adult romance!),

Before saying anything, I have to mention that I got this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

„Abducted life” is the first book I read this year and I absolutely fell in love with it. Yes, I've read science fiction romance books before, but nothing similar to this one. The book starts with the story of Savannah Janowitz, a young girl who vanished without a trace with her boyfriend, but reappeared one year later... without her boyfriend. They were both abducted by aliens and whi

Savannah Janowitz returned home with no memory after being missing for a year. Her boyfriend, Evan Sullivan, was still missing. Savannah tries to continue on without him, but not only does she struggle with her grief, she has these new powers which make everyday life tough. Yet Evan did return, but he hides in the shadows and watches her from afar until she finds him. Their love brings them together against the odds. While she doesn't remember anything that happened, Evan does, and he is wary of ...more

An excellent story with a very sympathetic pair of main characters that I continually wanted a good resolution for. After being mysteriously abducted and returned to Earth, Evan and Savannah both have issues to deal with - disfigurement and being outcast from his former life for one, and memory loss and some very pressing urges for the other. The author did a great job at drawing me in with little details that are revealed throughout. The devotion the two have for each other is touching and I wa ...more

This was one of those incredibly quick reads that I got through on one of my recent flights. It was quick, fast-paced, and interesting. I did find myself wanting to see more of Savannah's life in the years intervening between her return and when we meet up with her in college. There's a lot that goes on there that seemed a bit glossed over. She's certainly got some weirdo side-effects of what happened to her, some of which I would have liked more explanation for (such as why on earth does she tu

One surprise after another.

Stunning story with strong characters. When Savannah and Evan disappeared, everyone thought they ran away. But when she returned with no memory of the missing year, she came back alone. Desperate for answers, Savannah resumes a "normal" life. With unusual new talents. What had her abductors done to her?

The unexpected twists and turns in this one will keep you on the edge of your seat and flipping pages!
Intriguing characters with big hearts and big problems but with the desire to help the other one through it all.
A great read with all kind of emotion in a fast-paced SF adventure!

Savannah and Evan disappeared one fine night... and a year later, only Savannah returns. True or false?
But Savvy is busy trying to rebuild her life with a year-long gap in her memory and a missing boyfriend. She's moving on. Or not.
AND THEN HE REAPPEARS. So everything should be fine and dandy, right? It's a story. Obviously not.

Ha. This book was quite a ride. Whilst Patricia could have gone the horror route with this one, she didn't, for which I'm grateful. Instead, it's soft science fiction, d

Fast-paced, thrilling, and mysterious, Abducted Life involves two teens, changed by alien abduction, trying to live "normal" lives on earth. It doesn't seem possible for Evan and Savannah might be okay except during a full moon, but they struggle on, remembering the love they had for each other before the abduction.
I read this book in one day - gripping, exciting scenes and great character development and relationships just drove this story to a great conclusion. I hope there's more - it seems

Abducted Life tells the story of a couple who survived an alien abduction but must now deal with the aftermath. Without giving too much away, that aftermath is something that keeps the two of them apart despite the fact that they seem very much in love. That part of the story is heart-wrenching, but Patricia sets up characters you can't help but cheer on as they battle even more adversity.

This is a truly great read, exciting and captivating, the reader immediately finds themselves emerged in a seemingly sad story. Loss, love, strength and some horrid ordeals the characters are put through it all and they deal with it together. I would love tl keep reading about the adventures the little family is about to embark upon. A massive thanks to the author for passing this book on for an honest review.

Real love can survive anything--even alien abductions?

Evan couldn't have stopped the aliens from abducting him and his girlfriend. When they're brought back home a year later, he is nothing like the boy he was before. To protect Savannah from the monster he has become, Evan flees to the forest and hides in waiting while his girlfriend attempts to continue on with her life.

Savannah can't remember what happened during the abduction but s

Abducted Life was a good 4 star read.

We start the book with Savannah waking up in a field a year after her and her boyfriend had been abducted. What she doesn’t know is that Evan was also in the field but he fled because of what they turned him into. He remembers everything, but thankfully Savannah does not.

We jump ahead four years, Savannah is in college. Ever since she returned she has been different. Her hearing is exceptional and she has heightened se
