A Christmas novella where everyone gets their just desserts.
Olive had a major crush on Hank in high school. She was the too-smart, slightly chubby girl who gawked as Hank ran track and made all the cheerleaders swoon. After high school, the two went their separate ways. Olive opened a yoga studio and swore off sweets while Hank traveled the world. No problem, right? At le

The candy maker meets the fitness instructor, with a twist!

This is the story of two very different types of individuals. The hero who is confident and follows his own path and the heroine who allows others opinions to influence her.

Before I start, it's important to note that these two knew each other in high school and had a secret "mutual" attraction. I have this word in parentheses because I have a hard time believing that the hero, being the self-confident jock typ

“Just a taste is all I ask.”
“I …” She chews her lip.
“Please?” I catch her gaze and hold it. “Just a bite?”
She eyes the pie like it might explode. “One bite and that’s it?”
“Oh, my god.” I lick my spoon, completely giving myself over to the deliciousness on my tongue.
“Yeah?” He stares at my mouth, and I realize there is something insanely hot about him watching me enjoy this dessert.

4.5* merry sweet christmas STARS!

The best Christmas story for this year! I've read some Celia Aaron's and mostly, I enjoyed it. I didn't read the blurb and surprised to know how unpredictable it is. Also it was super funny! Just right for my gloomy heart at this moment.

No more chubby and braces. Olive Granderson owns a yoga studio and made herself a business woman. She turns into beautiful woman by herself. Her only weakness is the candy shop across her place. The owner is Hank Winters, her high

I know many readers liked the story but it didn't work for me. I didn't enjoy it. I didn't like the h, Olive. She annoyed the hell out of me. At first, I thought it would get better but it didn't. I know she has weight issues in high school and college. It's a struggle and because of that, she watched what she eats and is living a healthy life but at the same time, she's bitter.

Hank didn't deserve what she did to him and to his business. Yes, they're not friends. They didn't even talk in high s

2.5 stars. While I liked the premise of the story and enjoyed Hank's characterization, Olive's actions disappointed me despite her purported redemption. The plot established animosity: entirely one sided on Olive's part, then drew them together nicely. Just when I got into it, Olive's actions cause some serious damage. She was insecure, immature, and disappointing. Hank deserved better. Being the major plot device that it was, it colored the experience for me. While I admit there was potential a ...more

I enjoyed Christmas Candy

Christmas Candy was my favorite story of the 4 romances included. Maybe a little too hardcore at times, but we'll written. Definitely not boring. I like this author...
I think the cover of this book beautifully reflects the fun and festive nature of the story. This is a delightful second chance romance where high school misunderstandings stopped the two getting together but now, years later, is their chance - if only they dare take it!

Olive wasn’t a svelte cheerleader in high school, but she still had a major crush on the seemingly out of read Hank who was a hunk. She’s changed her eating habits and is now a curvy but slim yoga teacher and studio owner. She’s

There is nothing like a sweet and smoldering Christmas story to get into the holiday spirit and spread a little joy in book land. Because Christmas and romance and books are swoony snowflakes. I know I’ll leave these Christmas stories with a smile on my face as hello guaranteed happy endings. Celia Aaron’s newest novella, Christmas Candy, is sweet and sensational like chocolate, and oh did I want to take a big bite of this candy!

Read by reading Christmas Cake and sorry but she was a b!tch and was mad at him for no reason and the soapbox about a candy shop and her past killed this as just not enjoyable. I didn't believe him or her so this was bad. And what she did to him put the nail in.

1.5 disappointing stars

I knew this was a novella but I didn't realize it would be less than 100 pages. There was no real character development and I feel like it was a waste of my time to read.

So Celia, you're telling me he had a thing for her the last two years of high school but broke up with his girlfriend (a cheerleader) after senior year, thus when high school was over. Where? how does that? cannot comprehend the logic@:%#?|

And our female mc was pining after him but thought she was frumpy and fat so couldn't bag the star athlete. I hate the longing on my heroines part after reading hundreds of books featuring pathetic ladies. Why didn't he go for her then? Instead he just kept hi

First off, I have to say I love Christmas time as I am a sucker for the covers that adorn the Christmas themed books and also out of all the holidays - Christmas has always been one that has been a favorite to celebrate. When I saw that Celia Aaron had a new one coming, I knew it was only a matter of time that I read it as she is one of my automatic must-read authors. If you want a sweet Christmas read with romance, frenemies, and sex, then Christmas Candy is the read for you. The book starts w ...more

I love reading all the holiday books that come out this time of year but this one was just okay for me. I didn't really like Olive and her bitterness towards her past with Hank seemed totally unwarranted. She was holding a grudge against him and he didn't do anything wrong. She was insecure, immature, spiteful and had a big stick up her ass. In high school she was overweight and now she is in shape and has her own yoga studio. It's a fight for her to keep the weight off and she abstains from eat ...more

Christmas Candy is a super short, but super sweet read.

Olive and Hank went to High School together, but they never spoke to each other. They both had a major crush on each other, though. Olive used to be a curvy girl; now she is a yoga instructor with her own studio, and she is having great success. She is still struggling with her low self-esteem even though her life is successful and she is beautiful. Hank has traveled the world, knowing that he would always come back to the town where he grew

First of all, I have to say how much I love this cover! I need to get me some socks or tights like that!
Christmas Candy is a sweet tale of Olive the chubby girl turned yoga instructor, and Hank, the well traveled jock.
Throughout high school, Olive had kept an eye on Hank. He was everything she'd always wanted, but he was the track star and she was, well, she was just Olive. When school was over, she turned to yoga and a strict diet - no sweets for her. This proved to be a big problem when her hi

4.5 stars - Short, sweet, fun, Christmas themed second chance at romance between two former high school opposites

Christmas Candy is a short, sweet, fun, Christmas themed second chance at romance between two former high school opposites who have secret crushes. The book also mixes a hate to love theme and had just enough steam, drama and surprises to make this an enjoyable quick read.

Finally a Christmas story that has sugar, spice and everything nice! I have been in such a Christmas book slump and this book was a winner! Hank and Olive were both crushing on each other as teenagers unbeknownst to the heroine. Olive felt she was too chubby and not good enough for Hank. In his eyes she was just right but they still didn't get together until a few years later. I loved this story and the connection the main characters had with each other. It's very hard for me to feel the connect ...more

I absolutely adored this sweet holiday novella! I loved that the roles were reversed and instead of having our typical gym rat male we had Olive who's the yoga instructor determined to keep the weight off she has lost since college.
Hank is a candy maker who is determined to show Olive that she is beautiful inside and out, no matter what her weight may be.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see 4 more holiday novella's included in with this book!

A wonderfully sexy and sweet Holiday story. This is one hawt, carmel sweet, sexy story.

Olive has a yoga studio and teaches 3 classes a day. Hank just opened a candy store across from Olives' yoga studio and the heat is on.

There is 4 bonus stories starting at 25% which are just as hot as Christmas Candy.

A little bit second-first chance romance, a little bit enemies to lovers, Olive & Hank are sweet (pun intended) and sexy in this easily inhaled, short, holiday-feels romance.

I loved everything about Hank: sexy, strong but not an alphahole, accomplished, goal focused with no bullshit. Have to admit, while I liked Olive (and she did redeem herself in the end), I did struggle to completely get on board with her “grudge” and the basis for it.

“Goldilocks” supporting characters (they were ne
