A doctor has devised a technique for spending more time with his patients and yet still making money. Coming from a system where he was supposed to spend only 12 minutes per patient, he now spends what it takes 24/7 to analyze the patient's problems and feels better as a physician, using his skills and helping. I don't think it will ever catch on, though it's something to think about.

Unfortunately, some of the information on high-deductible insurance policies is now obsolete, and there is a great deal of redundant, conventional advice on diet and exercise, but it is nonetheless an interesting introduction to direct-pay medicine.
