I enjoyed viewing Michelangelo through this art Library. The photos were vibrant and in-depth whereas you can see the incremental details of the sculptors and drawings. It was relaxing. Further, the human body is carved in symmetrical conformity and depicts the scene described. Michelangelo rendering of Rome, Sistine Chapel aids you in visualizing the bible. Michelangelo sees the human body as God's creature in its purity. I highly recommend going through this art Library. My favorite is the Sistine Chapel.

Quotes:

Michelangelo is considered one of the outstanding artists of the sixteenth century. He reached the highest degree of excellence in the three major areas of art: painting, sculpture and architecture.

His drawings stress the plasticity of the figures because, as he himself explained, "the best paintings are those which come closer to sculptured relief."

The painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is grandiose and completely new in concept. The figures, separated from the structural setting but stressed and underlined in an architectural framework, play the dominant role. The work has been defined as "animated architecture."
