Bear is enjoying a lazy day when an itch starts. It begins creeping up from his toes all the way up and all over! In his attempts to relieve that itch, he ends up disturbing a lot of his animal neighbors. But his
Another Story Sack book for our library - comes with lots of puppets to enact the story (my favorite is the mole!). It's a fun one to play out with puppets, and could easily fit a theme on friends/neighbors, on bears (with or without other woodland animals), or on allergies (though might not word it that way - I just think it'd be a fun one to pair with Sneeze, Big Bear, Sneeze!!)

This is another great bear book. I read this to a group of nursery children this week since their interests have been on bears for Children in Need this Friday. It is about a bear with an extraordinary itch that he cannot get rid of. He tries scratching up against a rock, a tree, etc. but something surprises him each time. I used the story sack when reading this, which was fantastic as it got the children involved and gave them an interactive role. A funny interactive story about an itchy bear.
