The High-Maintenance Ladies of the Zombie Apocalypse is exactly what the title conveys, a humorous attempt to pit pampered fashionistas against brainless, flesh-eating hordes. Taken in that spirit, this book is a complete success. It is at times silly, gory, irreverent, suspenseful and all around fun. I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway. I read it within a day -- I absolutely could not put it down. It was funny, lighthearted, and optimistic, with very lovable and relatable characters. I really enjoyed it and am thankful I was given an opportunity to read it.

What can you say about a book that has it all? It has humor, gore, fast paced action, wonderful shoes, and two fearless women, best friends, trying to survive the zombie apocalypse.
My only complaint about this book is that it is too short!
My wish is that indeed it is only the beginning!
