Wowwwww
I loved this story from the beginning, it had me so intrigued that I'm dying to see what part 2 would bring. I hope Trooper and Sophie relationship work out even with all the secerts that's coming about. I'm somewhat disappointed in Alana because she let what other people think about her be the reason she's not really happy, but I love the fact she don't want that to happen with Sophie. I'm really going to need Orin to take her desperate self somewhere else with her antics she's pulling. I'm loving how Miss.Maddie is taming Mr.Carlos I think it's cute. Can't wait for part 2 cause I know is going to get better. Great job KC Mills

This book was good I love me some trooper and Sophie they balance each other out. Orion is crazy and I don't think we see the last of her. William is crazy. I'm about to start part 2 right now cause that ending was something else.

Trooper is bae. I love he got Sophie bougie butt to come out of her shell. Sophie and Trooper are good for each other. He makes her live life. And she showed him what it feels like to love. And Los and Maddie, we'll see. I can't wait to see William, Lincoln and Richard to get brought down a notch. Oscar is going to be crazy I think. And Orin needs to be slapped.

Great read
This is a crazy but yet great read. Im loving Soohie and Trooper, even Maddie and Los. I hope somehow story gets out of prison and can meet his daughter. Orin needs to get it and so does aophiea father. Sophie father is the real criminal.

Took me a while

I love K.C. Mills don't get me wrong and her book men are top tiers for me but Trooper didn't do it for me.
Off rip, he was just very disrespectful and rude in general. Not even like he was rude to people that was rude to him no he was just rude to everybody and one major red flag for me, is people that are rude to people that are just trying to do their job especially in service.
1. The whole accident with the valet was pure accident and he was on 10 for no reason, when he was going anywhere important. He was going to hoop, he was just bragging about his money and getting his car fixed of broken and it was literally a fluke. He was plain disrespectful to them over an honest mistake.
2. When he managed to get to Sophie he was really rude again, telling her to chill her attitude like If he is not a random man she smiled at a restaurant showing up at her home. How is she suppose to be, calm, cool and collected. Not at all question you, you are stranger.
3. When they did meet, he was VERY rude to her continously for no reason. He would say disrespectful stuff and I would always thinks he would check him but she never did, she end up apologising or brushing it under the rug. Like when they first met she just said to him something along the lines of that he was being disrespectful because HE WAS and he started rattling of about his money and college degree snd yaddi yaddi yadda like okay?. Did we ask?. You will several example of this, he will treat and talk about people with money or higher clas whatever like trash, call them stuck up, boujie, judgemental when that's exactly what he is being. He is no better.
4. His relations with Otis, they might as well be a couple, honestly.
5. The way they talk about women is disgusting, Los referring one time to bitches. Gross. Los said one time maybe she is not feeling you, he said and I quote "Oh she is, she is probably creaming thinking about me" something like that. They had just met 🤢.
6. He was on a "meeting, date" whatever with another woman and he just sat down at her table and came onto her talking about when you touch yourself when you get home, call me. THATS DISGUSTING, HE IS A STRANGER. And he literally told his date to go fetch him a drink and get gon and she did. Rolls eyes* and after all that she still swooned over him.
7. He is majorly insecure like highly insecure about his place in "High society" as he deems it. Because I don't have to hear 20 times just 15 pages about how much money he has, but he is still hood and they feel like he don't belong, but he is there, he has money, they have money, they are so high class, he is so hood. I GET IT you are insecure and there was an example of them being so, he was just plain rude and I mean literally. Towards people with lower pay than him or higher pay it didn't matter what does that say about you?. Wow K. C. Mills
I'm on vacation in other country reading your books. It's still amazes me how your mind works, how you come up with these amazing crazy characters. I read some of your review and get upset because you know I'm your day one. Especially when they said that your women characters are weak. If you are a truly a K.C. Mills reader you should know she is the Queen of Alpha Males. So all of you negative reviews writer my suggestion to you is to stop reading her work and move on to the next author to give your negative energy too. Now I'm not sure if any negative reviews is on this book but I seen negative reviews on other ones that K.C. wrote. I'm going to take back my suggestion and give you another one. How about you write your own book see how you like your reviews.

Hummmm...... It's happening again!!! Classic
It seems for every lame, slow, cute series I read from this author, she has several bombed out series right after that. And I must the good outweighs the bad.
Trooper, man, you are bae but please give chances at least, because this is your soulmate and all. Intelligent, alpha, protective, loyal, handsome, you are really, really, really bae everyday.
Sophie, just like your name portrays softness, beauty and sweetness, it seems that's what you are. Also intelligent, beautiful and down right all around, your independence supersede everything.
Mad doe and Carlos, y'all sound very cute and all. Can't really say too much since we haven't heard too much from you, but you guys does sound good.
Orin, Richard, and William, man karma is not too far, and definitely would like to meet up with you.

Sophie Prescott and Trooper Carter are from different sides of the track for sure, the two could not be more different. But you know what they say about opposites attract and all that. Trooper is a hood guy to the souls of his feet. He lives and breathes the street life but he is not longer in the streets he is still street, if that makes since. Sophie on the other hand is the definition of silver spoon. Her family is wealthy and she lives well. But what happens when the sins of the parents come back to hunt the children. Come to find out that Sophie’s life is about to be turned upside down from her parents deception. And Troop is placed smack in the middle of it all by association.
Can’t wait to see what happens. This was a fast read.

No love, like thug kove
True to the title a few typos .......but nothing serious. I enjoyed this book the main female character wasn't weak and the main male character was straight forward they where able too communicate clear in up instantly, other books the back and forth then the running gets tiresome. I enjoyed each character how there developing as couples..........Sophie father is something else, then Lincoln, Orin, Richard......let go move on........KC Mills I'm going into stalker mode looking for part 2...........Thank you

Hated the name Trooper and Sophie but I did enjoy following along with the two. I really wanted more on what Trooper actually did and what he held over Orin to make her fall in line. Seemed like there was more there. The situation with Story and how they were tangled together would be better if he actually has a chance at getting out. Los and Maddie seemed like another good couple to follow along with, so I’d check that out if they had a separate story. The ending of this one was lame though, for William to go out like that was unnecessary.

I hope I don't have to wait forever for part 2. Definitely a good story line. A couple editing errors but you still get the point. I love Troopers dominating personality and the way he can handle Sophie. Just what she needs. I can't wait to see what becomes of Maddie and Los.

Page turner!!!
Man!!!! This book has so much going on in it you just want to keep on going until you get to the end. I like Trooper and Sophie there is so much drama going on with these two in this book I am rooting for the relationship. I hope in the next book we get to hear more about Maddie and Carlos and their story.

Loved it! Trooper and Los are the shatttt, I can't stand Lincoln nor Sophie's step pop... He needs to mine his business and let her do what she wants...I wish it was a way that Story could get out. I like Maddie and Los together, and hoping Sophie is pregnant.

Great Job!!
I love the chemistry between Sophie and Trooper. Orin didn't have a backbone so she didn't stand a chance. Trooper needed someone to break down his walls and teach him how to love!

Hands down the shiznyee! I was blown completely away. Trooper has got to be labeled as that n*^%#. Sophie is so cute and sweet. I love her personality! I have read all 3 parts and I highly recommend from beginning to end end.
