This was a fun book for elementary readers ~ get them started on fantasy early. I am enjoying the growth of the characters. I also enjoy Marc Remus' thoughts on creativity that begin each chapter.

"Creativity is as blurry as the line between fantasy and reality. It is not written in stone."

Magora: The Bridge in the Fog by Marc Remus is the third instalment in the six-book Magora series. Unlike the first two, which can be read as standalones, The Bridge in the Fog requires background from previous books. In fact it starts right in the middle of the action!

The Bridge in the Fog (Book 3, Magora series) by Marc Remus but works excellently as stand alone. The Action Increases

Marc Remus did it again. Book Three pulls you in even faster and doesn’t let you go. You come to see the characters as real. The fantasy world becomes reality. And the danger is intense. There are just enough “seeds” planted in the story to ensure more adventures are ahead for Holly and her friends. Magora is a wonderfully created world. You’ll thoroughly love it and never want to leave.

I discovered the series through the book "The Language Thieves" which was obviously geared to an older audience. Magora is a wonderful read for ages around 10 who love magic and fantasy. It is age appropriate and an easy read for the kids. My children are just devouring this series.
